Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and Development serta menggunakan model penelitian ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan video pembelajaran berbasis mnemonic. Pengembangan dilakukan untuk menanggapi permasalahan rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik yang disebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang belum melibatkan soal bersifat kontekstual dan open-ended, khususnya di SMA Negeri 1 Banjit. Hasil validasi ahli materi dan media menunjukkan bahwa produk ini memiliki standar kelayakan, dengan rata-rata skor masing-masing sebesar 3,79 dan 3,78. Sementara itu, berdasarkan respons peserta didik, kemenarikan video pembelajaran berbasis mnemoinic mendapat skor rata-rata 3,29 dan 3,48 yang dikategorikan “Sangat Menarik". Selanjutnya, hasil analisis melalui N-Gain menunjukkan skor akhir 0,66 dengan kategori sedang, sehingga dinyatakan cukup efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, video pembelajaran berbasis mnemonic layak, menarik, dan cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik. ABSTRACT This study uses the Research and Development research type and uses the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) research model. This study aims to develop a mnemonic-based learning video. The development was carried out to respond to the problem of low conceptual understanding of students caused by learning that does not involve contextual and open-ended questions, especially in SMA Negeri 1 Banjit. The results of the validation of material and media experts show that this product has a feasibility standard, with an average score of 3.79 and 3.78, respectively. Meanwhile, based on student responses, the attractiveness of the mnemonic-based learning video received an average score of 3.29 and 3.48 which are categorized as "Very Interesting". Furthermore, the results of the analysis through N-Gain showed a final score of 0.66 with a moderate category, so it is declared quite effective for use in learning. Thus, the mnemonic-based learning video is feasible, interesting, and quite effective in improving students' conceptual understanding abilities.
