Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan kemampuan representasi matematis. Inovasi model pembelajaran diperlukan guna mendukung peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan kemampuan representasi. Model pembelajaran SCSS membuat peserta didik terlibat aktif dan terlatih untuk dapat memahami suatu masalah dan representasi matematis. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui (1) pengaruh model pembelajaran SSCS terhadap kekampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan kemampuan representasi matematis, (2) Pengaruh SSCS terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, dan (3) pengaruh SSCS terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the low level of mathematical problem-solving and mathematical representation skills. Innovation in learning models is needed to support the improvement of mathematical problem-solving and representation skills. The SCSS learning model actively engages students and trains them to understand problems and mathematical representations. The objectives of this study are to determine (1) the effect of the SSCS learning model on mathematical problem-solving and mathematical representation skills, (2) the effect of SSCS on mathematical problem-solving skills, and (3) the effect of SSCS on mathematical representation skills.
