Abstract

ABSTRAK Indonesia memiliki kontribusi signifikan dalam publikasi penelitian etnomatematika, namun hasil asesmen internasional seperti PISA 2022 menunjukkan skor literasi matematika siswa Indonesia yang jauh di bawah rata-rata negara OECD, mengindikasikan kesenjangan antara penelitian etnomatematika dan dampaknya terhadap kualitas pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan penelitian etnomatematika di Sekolah Menengah (2020 2024), visualisasi jaringan kata kunci dalam penelitian tersebut, dampak publikasi penelitian etnomatematika, serta tantangan dan peluang penelitian di masa mendatang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan bibliometrik. Sampel yang dianalisis berjumlah 56 dokumen yang dipilih dari database Scopus. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan perangkat lunak Publish or Perish dan dianalisis dengan VOSviewer untuk memetakan tren penelitian etnomatematika pada sekolah menengah. Hasil menunjukkan perkembangan penelitian etnomatematika pada sekolah menengah periode 2020-2024 mengalami fluktuasi. Pada tahun 2023 mencatat lonjakan publikasi terbesar, mencapai 29% dari total publikasi, meningkat 166,67% dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya. Indonesia menjadi negara dengan kontribusi terbesar. Visualisasi kata kunci menggunakan VOSviewer mengidentifikasi 15 cluster dengan fokus Ethnomathematics, Geometry, Mathematics Education. Dampak publikasi penelitian diukur dari sitasi, artikel Suherman yang berjudul “Assessment of Mathematical Creative Thinking: A Systematic Review” memiliki dampak besar 75 sitasi dan diterbitkan di jurnal Scopus Q1. Tantangan utama adalah terbatasnya kolaborasi internasional terhadap etnomatematika. Dalam hal ini terdapat kata kunci baru membuka peluang penelitian di masa depan yaitu Learning styles, Augmented reality, Problem Based Learning, Numeracy, Triangulation, Qualitative Research, dan Originality. Kata Kunci: Bibliometrik, Etnomatematika, Sekolah Menengah, Pembelajaran Matematika. iii ABSTRACT Indonesia has made significant contributions to the publication of ethnomathematics research, but international assessments such as PISA 2022 show that Indonesian students' mathematics literacy scores are far below the OECD average, indicating a gap between ethnomathematics research and its impact on the quality of mathematics education. This study aims to examine the development of ethnomathematics research in secondary schools (2020-2024), visualize the keyword network in this research, assess the impact of ethnomathematics research publications, and explore the challenges and opportunities for future research. The methodology used in this study is quantitative descriptive with a bibliometric approach. The sample analyzed consists of 56 documents selected from the Scopus database. Data were collected using Publish or Perish software and analyzed with VOSviewer to map the trends in ethnomathematics research in secondary schools. The results show that the development of ethnomathematics research in secondary schools during the 2020-2024 period has experienced fluctuations. In 2023, the largest publication spike occurred, accounting for 29% of the total publications, a 166.67% increase compared to the previous year. Indonesia emerged as the country with the largest contribution. Visualization of the keywords using VOSviewer identified 15 clusters with focuses on Ethnomathematics, Geometry, and Mathematics Education. The impact of research publications is measured by citations, with Suherman’s article titled “Assessment of Mathematical Creative Thinking: A Systematic Review” having a major impact with 75 citations and published in a Scopus Q1 journal. The main challenge is the limited international collaboration in ethnomathematics. In this regard, new keywords open opportunities for future research, including Learning Styles, Augmented Reality, Problem-Based Learning, Numeracy, Triangulation, Qualitative Research, and Originality.
