Abstract
Kata Kunci : Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah, Kemampuan Numerasi, Model Knisley, Pendekatan MEAs, dan Self-Regulated Learning iii ABSTRACT Problem solving and numeracy skills in mathematics learning are essential competencies that students must master. This study aims to investigate the influence of the Knisley learning model with the MEAs approach on students' problem-solving and numeracy skills, viewed from the level of Self-Regulated Learning. This research is a quantitative study using a Quasi-Experimental Design. The subjects of this study were eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 19 Bandar Lampung, with a population of 149 students. The sample consisted of class VIII.2 as the experimental group, which used the Knisley model with the MEAs approach, and class VIII.1 as the control group, which used a Teacher-Centered model. Data collection techniques included tests, questionnaires, documentation, and observation. Hypothesis testing was conducted using two-way MANOVA. Based on the results and analysis, it was concluded that students’ problem-solving and numeracy skills taught using the Knisley model with the MEAs approach were better than those taught using the Teacher-Centered model. Additionally, students with a high level of Self-Regulated Learning demonstrated better problem-solving and numeracy abilities than those with moderate or low Self Regulated Learning.
