Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan hasil pra-penelitian di SMP Negeri 2 Sidomulyo menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik tergolong rendah. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan oleh hasil persentase yaitu 84,9% peserta didik yang belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal. Maka peneliti tertarik menerapkan strategi pembelajaran QSH (Question Student Have) terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis ditinjau dari self confidence peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) pengaruh strategi pembelajaran QSH (Question Student Have) terhadap Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis. 2) pengaruh self confidence terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis. 3) interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran QSH (Question Student Have) dengan self confidence terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi Eksperiment Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh peserta didik kelas IX SMP N 2 Sidomulyo Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan angket self confidence. Hasil pengujian hipotesis yang telah dilakukan maka disimpulkan bahwa: 1) terdapat pengaruh kemampuan komunikasi matematis antara model pembelajaran QSH (Question Student Have) dan pembelajaran ekspositori, 2) terdapat pengaruh antara peserta didik yang memiliki self confidence kategori tinggi, sedang, dan rendah terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis, 3) tidak terdapat interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran QSH (Question Student Have) dengan self confidence terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Kata Kunci: Strategi Pembelajaran QSH, Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis, dan Self Confidence. iii ABSTRACT Based on the results of pre-research at SMP Negeri 2 Sidomulyo, it shows that the mathematical communication skills of students are low. This is indicated by the percentage results, namely 84.9% of students who have not reached the minimum completeness criteria. So researchers are interested in applying the QSH (Question Student Have) learning strategy to mathematical communication skills in terms of students' self-confidence. This study aims to determine: 1) the effect of QSH (Question Student Have) learning strategy on Mathematical Communication Ability. 2) the effect of self confidence on mathematical communication skills. 3) interaction between QSH (Question Student Have) learning strategy with self confidence on mathematical communication ability. This type of research uses Quasi Experiment Design. The population in this study were all 9th grade students of SMP N 2 Sidomulyo in the 2023/2024 academic year. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling. Data collection used is mathematical communication ability test and self confidence questionnaire. The results of hypothesis testing that have been carried out conclude that: 1) there is an influence on mathematical communication skills between the QSH (Question Student Have) learning model and expository learning, 2) there is an influence between students who have high, medium, and low self confidence categories on mathematical communication skills, 3) there is no interaction between QSH (Question Student Have) learning strategies with self confidence on mathematical communication skills.
