Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan disposisi matematis peserta didik kelas VIII SMP I As-Sa’adah masih tergolong dalam kategori rendah. Berdasarkan dari hasil pra penelitian, sebanyak 58 dari 92 peserta didik masih mendapatkan nilai di bawah KKM dan 61,95% peserta didik mendapat kategori disposisi matematis rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah, mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing terhadap disposisi matematis, dan mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah disposisi matematis peserta didik. Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Quasy Eksperimen Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMP I As-Sa’adah. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Cluster Random Sampling Pengambilan data penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berbentuk tes untuk mengukur kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan angket untuk mengukur disposisi matematis peserta didik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah uji Multivariate Analysis of Varians (MANOVA) dengan taraf signifikasi 5% dengan berbantuan aplikasi SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh kesimpulan pertama dengan nilai p-value 0,000 yang menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah, kesimpulan kedua dengan nilai p-value 0,034 yang menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing terhadap disposisi matematis, dan kesimpulan ketiga dengan nilai p-value 0,000 yang menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan disposisi matematis peserta didik. The data analysis technique used in this study is the Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) test with a significance level of 5% with the help of the SPSS application. Based on the results of the analysis, the first conclusion is obtained with a p-value of 0.000 which shows that there is an effect of the Snowball Throwing learning model on problem solving ability, the second conclusion with a p-value of 0.034 which shows that there is an effect of the Snowball Throwing learning model on mathematical disposition, and the third conclusion with a p-value of 0.000 which shows that there is an effect of the Snowball Throwing learning model on problem solving ability and mathematical disposition of students.
