Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan pemecahan masalah merupakan salah satu unsur penting dalam pembelajaran matematika, siswa perlu memahami masalah, menyusun strategi dan menyelesaikannya secara matematis sehingga diperoleh suatu solusi dari masalah tersebut. Terdapat faktor�faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa diantaranya yaitu self-confidece, resiliensi matematis, dan kemampuan koneksi matematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model terbaik antara variabel self-confidece, resiliensi matematis, kemampuan koneksi matematis, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah, serta hubungan langsung dan tidak langsungnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas XII di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian digunakan adalah survey dengan pendekatan kausal. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket self-confidence dan resiliensi matematis, serta tes kemampuan koneksi matematis dan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil penelitian mununjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan langsung self-confidence terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis, tidak terdapat hubungan langsung resiliensi matematis terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis, tidak terdapat hubungan langsung self-confidence terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah, tidak terdapat hubungan langsung resiliensi matematis terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah, terdapat hubungan langsung kemampuan koneksi matematis terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah, hubungan tidak langsung self-confidence terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah melalui kemampuan koneksi matematis, dan tidak terdapat hubungan tidak langsung resiliensi matematis terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah melalui kemampuan koneksi matematis. Students need to understand problems, develop strategies, and solve them mathematically to find solutions. Several factors can affect students' problem solving ability, including self�confidence, mathematical resilience, and mathematical connection ability. This study aims to determine the best model among the variables of self-confidence, mathematical resilience, mathematical connection ability, and problem solving ability, as well as their direct and indirect relationships. This research was conducted in class XII of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung. The research method used was a survey with a causal approach. The data collection technique used self-confidence and mathematical resilience questionnaires, as well as mathematical connection ability and problem solving ability tests. Hypothesis testing was conducted using path analysis. The results showed that there is a direct relationship between self-confidence and mathematical connection ability, there is no direct relationship between mathematical resilience and mathematical connection ability, there is no direct relationship between self�confidence and problem solving ability, there is no direct relationship between mathematical resilience and problem solving ability, there is a direct relationship between mathematical connection ability and problem solving ability, there is an indirect relationship between self�confidence and problem solving ability through mathematical connection ability, and there is no indirect relationship between mathematical resilience and problem solving ability through mathematical connection ability.
