Abstract

ABSTRAK Etnomatematika digunakan untuk menggali keberadaan matematika dalam budaya khususnya pada kesenian tradisional Lampung yaitu tari sigeh penguten. Perancang tari sigeh penguten tidak menyadari telah menerapkan aktivitas matematika dan konsep matematika sebagai dasar terbentuknya keindahan tari. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Apakah terdapat pengaruh Model VAK Berbasis Etnomatematika Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Siswa dalam Tari Sigeh Pengunten, (2) Apakah terdapat pengaruh Model VAK Berbasis Etnomatematika Terhadap Representasi Matematis Siswa dalam Tari Sigeh Pengunten, dan (3) Apakah terdapat pengaruh Model VAK Berbasis Etnomatematika Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep dan Representasi Matematis siswa dalam Tari Sigeh Pengunten. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket, observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Uji yang digunakan adalah uji manova. Sebelum dilakukan uji manova terlebih dulu gunakan uji homogenitas dan uji normalitas. Berdasarkan penelitian maka dapat diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa (1) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran VAK berbasis etnomatematika dalam tari sigeh pengunten terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis, (2) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran VAK berbasis etnomatematika dalam tari sigeh pengunten terhadap representasi matematis, dan (3) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran VAK berbasis etnomatematika dalam tari sigeh pengunten terhadap pemahaman konsep dan representasi matematis peserta didik secara simultan. Kata Kunci: VAK, Etnomatematika, Pemahaman Konsep, dan Representasi Matematis iv ABSTRACT Ethnomathematics is used to explore the existence of mathematics in culture, especially in traditional Lampung arts, namely the sigeh penguten dance. The designer of the Sigeh Penguten dance did not realize that he had applied mathematical activities and mathematical concepts as the basis for creating the beauty of the dance. The aims of this research are (1) Is there an influence of the Ethnomathematics-Based VAK Model on Students' Understanding of Concepts in the Sigeh Pengunten Dance, (2) Is there an influence of the Ethnomathematics-Based VAK Model on Students' Mathematical Representations in the Sigeh Pengunten Dance, and (3) Is there an influence of the Model Ethnomathematics-Based VAK on Students' Understanding of Concepts and Mathematical Representations in the Sigeh Pengunten Dance. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research. Data was obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. Data collection techniques include questionnaires, observation, documentation and tests. The test used is the MANOVA test. Before carrying out the MANOVA test, first use the homogeneity test and normality test. Based on the research, it was concluded that (1) There is an influence of the ethnomathematics-based VAK learning model in the Sigeh Pengunten dance on understanding mathematical concepts, (2) There is an influence of the ethnomathematics-based VAK learning model in the Sigeh Pengunten dance on mathematical representation, and (3) There is an influence of the model ethnomathematics-based VAK learning in the sigeh pengunten dance towards students' simultaneous understanding of concepts and mathematical representations.
