Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berjudul ―Pemanfaatan Open Journal System (OJS) sebagai sumber belajar mahasiswa Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung‖. Fokus peneliti pada penelitian ini adalah Open Journal System yang dikelola oleh Fakultas Adab Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung. Perkembangan jurnal di Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung terus menunjukkan tren positif. Namun banyak mahasiswa yang belum mengetahui bahwa Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung memiliki Open Journal System. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana Pemanfaatan Open Journal System (OJS) sebagai sumber belajar mahasiswa Fakultas Adab Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung dengan jurnal El-Pustaka dan Jurnal El--Tarikh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah pemanfaatan Open Journal System sebagai sumber belajar mahasiswa Fakultas Adab Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini menafsirkan fenomena yang terjadi, instrumen dari penelitian ini adalah teknik pengumpulan data dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Serta teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan juga menarik kesimpulan. Untuk uji keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan Triangulasi sumber dengan maksud membandingkan dan megecek balik derajat kepercayaan suatu informasi yang diperoleh melalui waktu dan alat yang berbeda. Informan dalam penelitian adalah 5 orang mahasiswa dengan rincian 3 (tiga) mahasiswa Program Studi Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Infromasi Islam serta 2 (dua) mahasiswa Program Studi Sejarah Peradaban Islam. Serta ada 2 pengelola jurnal El-Tarikh dan jurnal El-Pustaka. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data yang telah diperoleh, mahasiswa Fakultas Adab Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung telah menggunakan Open Journal System secara baik dan optimal. Hal ini dilihat dari terpenuhinya indikator penggunaan Open Journal System dianataranya, Frekuensi pemanfatan Open Journal System dengan hasil penelitian setiap hari dan 3-4 kali dalam seminggu dengan kata lain mahasiswa sering memanfaatkan Open Journal System. Tujuan memanfaatkan jurnal Bagi mahasiswa akhir tentu pemanfaatan jurnal lebih besar untuk penyelesaian tugas akhir, sementara itu untuk mahasiswa yang belum sampai pada tahap akhir pemanfaatan e-journal sebatas kebutuhan belajar baik untuk makalah atau untuk menambah ilmu pengetahuan, Penggunaan strategi iv pencarian jurnal berbeda-beda. Keberagaman ini terlihat dari beberapa perilaku mahasiswa yang pencarian dengan cara memasukan kata kunci, masalaha spesifik dan juga mencari langsung dari sumber utama, Adapun kendala dalam penggunaan Open Journal System oleh mahasiswa adalah kurangnya pengetahuan teknis, kendala Bahasa dan juga masalah jaringan atau download. Kata Kunci: Pemanfaatan E-jurnal, Open Journal System, Sumber Belajar v ABSTRACT This research is entitled "Utilization of the Open Journal System (OJS) as a learning resource for students at Raden Intan Lampung State Islamic University". The researcher's focus in this research is the Open Journal System which is managed by the Faculty of Adab, Raden Intan Lampung State Islamic University. The development of journals at Raden Intan Lampung State Islamic University continues to show a positive trend. However, many students do not know that Raden Intan Lampung State Islamic University has an Open Journal System. The formulation of the problem in this research is How to Use the Open Journal System (OJS) as a learning resource for students at the Faculty of Adab, Raden Intan Lampung State Islamic University with the El-Pustaka journal and the El-Tarikh Journal. The aim of this research is to use the Open Journal System as a learning resource for students at the Faculty of Adab, Raden Intan Lampung State Islamic University This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. This research interprets the phenomena that occur, the instrument of this research is data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation methods. As well as data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. To test the validity of the data in this research, we use source triangulation with the aim of comparing and checking back the degree of trustworthiness of information obtained through different times and tools. The informants in the research were 5 students, 3 (three) students from the Islamic Library and Information Science Study Program and 2 (two) students from the History of Islamic Civilization Study Program. And there are 2 managers of the El-Tarikh journal and the El-Pustaka journal. Based on the results of the research and data analysis that has been obtained, students at the Faculty of Adab, Raden Intan Lampung State Islamic University have used the Open Journal System well and optimally. This can be seen from the fulfillment of indicators for using the Open Journal System, including the frequency of using the Open Journal System with research results every day and 3-4 times a week, in other words, students often use the Open Journal System. The purpose of using journals: For final students, the use of journals is of course greater for completing final assignments, meanwhile for students who have not yet reached the final stage, the use of e-journals is limited to learning needs either for papers or to increase knowledge. The use of journal search strategies is different. vi This diversity can be seen from the behavior of several students who search by entering keywords, specific problems and also searching directly from primary sources. The obstacles in using the Open Journal System by students are lack of technical knowledge, language barriers and also network or download problems.
