Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi model guided inquiry terhadap berpikir kritis siswa secara keseluruhan dan berdasarkan jenjang pendidikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui data base google scholar sebanyak 10 studi yang tersaring dari 2017-2021 dianalisis menggunakan metode meta analisis. Effect size diperoleh melalui sover OpenMEE dengan menggunakan persamaan hedges sedangkan funnel plot dan validasi data bias menggunakan sofwer jasp 0.15.00. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model guided inquiry secara keseluruhan memberikan pengaruh positif dan mampu meningkatkan berpikir kritis siswa dengan rata rata 1.236 dan termasuk kategori sangat besar. Dari hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa model guided inquiry dapat dijadikan salah satu solusi untuk meningkatkan berpikir kritis siswa. Kata kunci : berpikir kritis; guided inquiry; meta analisis iii ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the contribution of the guided inquiry model to students' critical thinking as a whole and based on educational level. This research is a quantitative research with a quantitative descriptive approach using secondary data collection techniques obtained through the Google Scholar data base as many as 10 screened studies from 2017-2021 were analyzed using the meta�analysis method. The effect size is obtained through the OpenMEE server using the hedges equation while the funnel plot and data validation can use the Jasp 0.15.00 software. The results showed that the application of the guided inquiry model as a whole had a positive influence and was able to improve students' critical thinking with an average of 1.236 and was included in the very large category. These results indicate that the guided inquiry model can be used as a solution to improve students' critical thinking. Keywords: critical thinking; guided inquiry; meta analysis
