Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model PjBL (Project Based Learning) dengan pendekatan STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) terhadap kemampuan Computational Thinking peserta didik pada pelajaran fisika. Penelitian ini merupakan quasy eksperimen menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Metode kuantitatif digunakan dalam proses perhitungan dari instrumen yang diujikan mengenai kemampuan Computational Thinking. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 14 Bandar Lampung dengan peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen, jumlah peserta didik pada kelas tersebut adalah 36 orang. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh data yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model PjBL dengan pendekatan STEAM terhadap kemampuan Computational Thinking, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai sig sebesar 0,033 yang berarti sig < 0,05 sehingga H1 diterima. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut terbukti bahwa model PjBL dengan pendekatan STEAM berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan Computational Thinking peserta didik pada pelajaran fisika. Kata Kunci : Kemampuan Computational Thinking, Model PjBL, pendekatan STEAM iii ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of the PjBL (Project Based Learning) model with the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) approach on the Computational Thinking ability of students in physics. This research is a quasi experiment using quantitative methods. Quantitative methods are used in the calculation process of the tested instruments regarding the Computational Thinking ability. This research was conducted at SMAN 14 Bandar Lampung with students of class XI MIPA 2 as the experimental class, the number of students in that class was 36 people. Based on the research that has been done, data shows that there is an effect of the PjBL model with the STEAM approach on the ability of Computational Thinking, this is indicated by a sig value of 0.033 which means sig < 0.05 so that H1 is accepted. Based on these results, it is proven that the PjBL model with the STEAM approach affects the Computational Thinking ability of students in physics lessons.
