Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian yang berjudul “Peningkatan Karakter Berbasis Lingkungan Disekolah Melalui Penerapam Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning di TK IT Aisyah Way Huwi” ini di latarbelakangi rendahnya kesadaran anak untuk menjaga lingkungan disekitarnya. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini apakah dengan model pembelajaran problem based learning katakter peduli lingkungan anak meningkat?. Karakter peduli lingkungan sekolah merupakan penanaman sikap dan perilaku untuk mencintai, menjaga dan melindungi lingkungan dan alam sekitar untuk dapat melestarikan alam demi menjaga keseimbangan hidup. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan karakter peduli lingkungan anak usia dini melalui model pembelajaran problem based learning di TK IT Aisyah Way Huwi Lampung Selatan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini Classroom Action Researh atau penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), secara kolaboratif dengan model Suharsimi Arikunto. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus dimana setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yakni, perencanaan, pelaksanaan,observasi,dan refleksi. Alat pengumpul data terdiri dari observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengumpulan data instrumen yang digunakan dalam observasi berupa lembar penelitian, untuk dokumentasi menggunakan kamera foto untuk mendokumentasikan segala aktivitas anak selama kegiatan dan wawancara menggunakan pedoman wawancara dengan guru Kelompok B untuk mengetahui kondisi dan permasalahan yang dihadapi. Hasil penelitian didapati bahwa nilai karakter peduli lingkungan anak usia dini dikelas B di TK IT Aisyah Way Huwi Lampung Selatan, yang berjumlah 13 orang siswa pada saat dilakukan pra survey belum menunjukkan persentase 80-100%. Setelah dilakukannya tindakan pada siklus I persentase 53 % dan pada siklus II di dapati persentase 85 %. Hasi analisis menunjukan peningkatan karakter peduli lingkungan anak dari pra siklus,siklus I dan siklus II hal ini dibuktikan tercapainya kriteria keberhasilan yang mencapai 85% sesuai yang diinginkan peneliti. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwasannya penggunaan model pembelajaran problem based learning dapat meningkatkan karakter peduli lingkungan anak usia dini di TK IT Aisyah Way Huwi Lampung Selatan. Kata Kunci : Karakter Berbasis Lingkungan Disekolah, Problem Based Learning iiABSTRACT The research entitled "Enhancing Environmental-Based Characters in Schools Through Implementing Problem Based Learning Models in IT Kindergarten Aisyah Way Huwi" was motivated by the low awareness of children to protect the surrounding environment. The formulation of the problem in this research is the problem-based learning model of character caring for the child's environment increasing?. The character of caring for the school environment is the cultivation of attitudes and behaviors to love, maintain and protect the environment and the surrounding nature to be able to preserve nature in order to maintain a balance of life. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of the environmental care character of early childhood through a problem based learning model at IT Aisyah Way Huwi Kindergarten, South Lampung. The type of research used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), collaboratively with Suharsimi Arikunto's model. This research consists of two cycles where each cycle consists of four stages, namely, planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection tools consist of observation, interviews, and documentation. The instrument data collection technique used in the observation was in the form of research sheets, for documentation using a photo camera to document all children's activities during activities and interviews using interview guidelines with Group B teachers to find out the conditions and problems faced. The results of the study found that the value of the environmental care character of early childhood in class B at IT Aisyah Way Huwi Kindergarten, South Lampung, which amounted to 13 students at the time of the pre-survey did not show the percentage of 80-100%. After doing the action in the first cycle the percentage is 53% and in the second cycle the percentage is 85%. The results of the analysis show an increase in the character of caring for the environment of children from pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II, this is evidenced by the achievement of the success criteria which reaches 85% as desired by the researcher. It can be concluded that the use of problem based learning learning models can improve the environmental care character of early childhood in IT Aisyah Way Huwi Kindergarten, South Lampung.
