Abstract

ABSTRAK Media sosial merupakan perkembangan dari teknologi-teknologi web berbasis internet, memudahkan semua orang untuk berkomunikasi dan berpartisipasi. Pengguna media sosial tidak mengenal usia baik anak anak, remaja, dewasa hingga lansia, tidak terkecuali anak sekolah. Penggunaan media sosial sebagai media pembelajaran belum pernah dilakukan di SMPN Satap Kelumbayan, peserta didik menggunakan instagram sebagai alat untuk berfoto foto dan juga upload foto, seperti media sosial pada umumnya, tidak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Motivasi merupakan faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan dalam proses belajar. Motivasi belajar peserta didik di SMPN Satap Kelumbayan terbilang rendah hal ini dibuktikan dengan peserta didik yang sering terlambat dalam mengikuti pembelajaran dan juga dalam menyelesaikan tugas, selain itu beberapa peserta didik bahkan tidak peduli dengan nilai yang diperoleh dan tidak termotivasi untuk meningkatkan nilai hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui terdapat korelasi antara penggunaan media sosial sebagai media pembelajaran dengan motivasi belajar peserta didik di SMPN Satap Kelumbayan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif, jenis analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Analisis koefisien Korelasi antara dua variabel yaitu variabel X dan variabel Y. Sampel penelitian berjumlah Orang siswa siswi SMPN Satap Kelumbayan.Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket, lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Uji instrumen penelitian dilakukan dengan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Uji analisis data dilakukan dengan uji normalitas, uji korelasi dan uji Hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat korelasi penggunaan media pembelajaran dengan motivasi belajar. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan hasil uji korelasi di atas diperoleh nilai signifikansi . Nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat korelasi penggunaan media sosial sebagai media pembelajaran dengan motivasi belajar peserta didik di SMPN Satap Kelumbayan. Motivation is one of the factors that influence success in the learning process. student motivation at SMPN Satap Kelumbayan is low, this is evidenced by students who are often late in attending lessons and also in completing assignments, besides that some students don't even care about the grades they get and are not motivated to study. increase the value of learning outcomes. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between the use of social media as a learning medium with students' learning motivation at SMPN Satap Kelumbayan. This study uses a quantitative research approach, the type of analysis used in this study is the analysis of the correlation coefficient between two variables, namely variable X and variable Y. The research sample is students of SMPN Satap Kelumbayan. The research instrument used a questionnaire, observation sheet and documentation. The research instrument test was carried out by testing the validity and reliability. Data analysis test was carried out by normality test, correlation test and hypothesis test. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that there is a correlation between the use of learning media and learning motivation. This is evidenced by the results of the correlation test above, which obtained a significance value of . The significance value of is less than , so it can be concluded that there is a correlation between the use of social media as a learning medium with the learning motivation of students at SMPN Satap Kelumbayan.
