Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan hukum ekonomi syariah terhadap transaksi emas online yang dilakukan melalui fitur Tokopedia Emas dalam aplikasi Pluang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan, yang mencakup observasi langsung dan wawancara mendalam dengan lima nasabah pengguna fitur Tokopedia Emas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun platform ini memberikan kemudahan dan akses bagi pengguna untuk berinvestasi emas, transaksi yang tidak melibatkan penyerahan fisik emas pada saat transaksi berpotensi melanggar prinsip syariah, khususnya terkait dengan riba nasi‟ah dan gharar. Selain itu, fluktuasi harga emas yang cepat menimbulkan potensi spekulasi (maysir) dalam transaksi ini. Penelitian ini menyarankan adanya penyesuaian dalam mekanisme transaksi untuk memastikan kesesuaian dengan prinsip-prinsip syariah, termasuk memperkenalkan penyerahan emas fisik yang jelas dan stabilitas harga yang lebih terkontrol. ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the implementation of Islamic economic law in online gold transactions conducted through the Tokopedia Emas feature within the Pluang application. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a field research design, incorporating direct observation and in-depth interviews with five customers who actively use the Tokopedia Emas feature. The findings indicate that although this platform provides convenience and accessibility for users to invest in gold, transactions that do not involve the physical delivery of gold at the time of purchase potentially contravene Sharia principles, particularly those related to riba nasi’ah and gharar. Moreover, rapid fluctuations in gold prices introduce speculative elements (maysir) into these transactions. This study recommends adjustments to the transaction mechanisms to ensure compliance with Sharia principles, including the introduction of clear physical gold delivery provisions and more controlled price stabilization measures.
