Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine how the administrators of modern Islamic boarding schools play a role in enforcing discipline among female students at the Jabal An Nur Al Islami Islamic Boarding School. The focus of the study includes the types of administrators' roles, the approaches used to foster discipline, and the factors that support and hinder the implementation of female student discipline. This study conducted qualitative research using a descriptive approach. To collect data, observation, interviews, and documentation were used. The research subjects consisted of the administrators of Islamic boarding school organizations, female teachers, and female students. Data analysis used reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results of the study indicate that the administrators of Islamic boarding school organizations have an important role in enforcing discipline among female students through the implementation of regulations, supervision of daily activities, providing advice, being role models, and the application of rewards and punishments. The strategies implemented by the administrators were able to help increase the awareness and compliance of female students with the rules of the Islamic boarding school. Supporting factors in the implementation of discipline include cooperation between the administrators and female teachers and the existence of clear regulations. Inhibiting factors include the lack of awareness of some female students and the influence of their friendship environment. Thus, the role of the Islamic boarding school organizational administrators is very influential in forming the disciplinary attitudes of female students in the Islamic boarding school environment
