Abstract

ABSTRAK IMPLEMENTASI KONSELING KELOMPOK DENGAN PENDEKATAN TRAIT AND FACTOR DALAM PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN KARIR PESERTA DIDIK SMA AL KAUTSAR BANDAR LAMPUNG Oleh: Aisyah Hasna Pengambilan keputusan karir merupakan fase krusial bagi siswa SMA, namun pada kenyataannya banyak siswa kelas XII di SMA Al Kautsar Bandar Lampung menghadapi hambatan seperti kurangnya pemahaman diri, kecemasan transisi, serta pengaruh kuat dari orang tua dan teman sebaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran pengambilan keputusan karir siswa dan menganalisis tahapan implementasi konseling kelompok dengan pendekatan Trait and Factor di sekolah tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui terstruktur dengan guru bimbingan dan konseling (BK), observasi terhadap layanan konseling, serta dokumentasi berupa catatan hasil asesmen siswa. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Gambaran pengambilan keputusan karir siswa kelas XII di SMA Al Kautsar ditandai dengan tingginya motivasi untuk melanjutkan pendidikan, namun sering terhambat oleh kebingungan dalam mencocokkan minat dengan program studi yang realistis. (2) Implementasi konseling kelompok dilakukan melalui empat tahapan utama: pembukaan, peralihan, kegiatan inti (sharing session), dan penutup. Pendekatan Trait and Factor diintegrasikan dengan mencocokkan data profil diri siswa (dari AKPD dan tes psikologis) terhadap faktor-faktor peluang karir atau jurusan di perguruan tinggi. ABSTRACT IMPLEMENTATION OF GROUP COUNSELING WITH A TRAIT AND FACTOR APPROACH IN THE CAREER DECISION�MAKING OF STUDENTS AT SMA AL KAUTSAR BANDAR LAMPUNG By: Aisyah Hasna Career decision-making is a crucial phase for high school students; however, in reality, many twelfth-grade students at SMA Al Kautsar Bandar Lampung face obstacles such as a lack of self-understanding, transition anxiety, and strong influences from parents and peers. This research aims to describe the career decision-making profile of students and analyze the stages of implementing group counseling using the Trait and Factor approach at the school. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. Data collection was conducted through unstructured interviews with guidance and counseling (BK) teachers, observation of counseling services, and documentation of student assessment records. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that: (1) The career decision-making profile of twelfth-grade students at SMA Al Kautsar is characterized by high motivation to pursue higher education, yet it is often hindered by confusion in matching interests with realistic study programs. (2) The implementation of group counseling is carried out through four main stages: opening, transition, core activities (sharing session), and closing. The Trait and Factor approach is integrated by matching students' self-profile data (from student need surveys and psychological tests) with career opportunity factors or university majors
