This re searc h w as m otivated by the low lev el o f stude nts’ c reativ e thinking ab ilitie s, p articularly in the o riginality asp ec t, as w ell as the nee d to im p le m ent ac tive le arning strateg ie s that alig n w ith the principle s of the M erde ka C urriculum . This stud y em ploye d a quantitative ap proac h using a quasi-e xp erim e ntal m e tho d w ith a P osttest-O nly C ontrol G roup D esign. The rese arch sam ple c onsisted of tw o classes, nam e ly an expe rim ental class and a co ntro l c lass, sele cted throug h sim ple rando m sam pling. Data w ere co lle cte d using a le arning c re ativ ity que stio nnaire that had b ee n te sted for validity and reliability, and the d ata w e re analyze d statistically to de term ine d ifferenc es be twe en gro ups. The results sho we d that the im p lem entatio n o f the G Q G A le arning m od el had a sig nific ant effec t on stud ents’ learning cre ativity co m p are d to c onv entio nal le arning. Stud ents in the e xp erim e ntal class de m onstrated b etter ab ilitie s in fluency , fle xibility, e lab oratio n, and orig inality in expre ssing id eas. These find ing s ind ic ate that the G Q G A m od el can serv e as an effec tiv e alte rnative ac tiv e le arning strateg y to enhance stude nts’ partic ipatio n and cre ativity in Islam ic Re lig ious E ducation at the v oc atio nal hig h scho ol lev el. This study c ontrib ute s to the de ve lopm e nt of c re ativ e learning practice s w ithin the im p le m entation o f the M erd eka Curric ulum .
