Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the influence of production, commodity prices, and exchange rates on palm oil exports in Indonesia from an Islamic economic perspective during the 2004–2023 period. A quantitative approach was employed using secondary time-series data sourced from Statistics Indonesia (BPS), Bank Indonesia (BI), the Indonesian Palm Oil Association (GAPKI), and the World Bank. The analysis utilized multiple linear regression via the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method, processed using EViews 10 software. Prior to hypothesis testing, the model satisfied classical assumption tests, including tests for normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation. The results indicate that, individually, the production and commodity price variables do not significantly affect palm oil exports in Indonesia; conversely, the exchange rate variable has a significant impact. However, when considered simultaneously, production, commodity prices, and exchange rates significantly influence palm oil exports in Indonesia. These findings demonstrate that while not all variables exert an individual influence, the combination of the three variables effectively explains fluctuations in Indonesia's palm oil exports. From an Islamic economic perspective, exporting constitutes a form of trade (tijarah) that is permissible provided it is conducted based on principles of justice (al-'adl), public interest (maslahah), and honesty (ṣidq), and is free from elements of usury (riba), uncertainty (gharar), and gambling (*maysir*). Therefore, policies regarding palm oil export development should not focus solely on increasing foreign exchange earnings but must also consider sustainability, public welfare, and Sharia values. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh produksi, harga komoditas, dan nilai tukar terhadap ekspor minyak kelapa sawit di Indonesia dalam perspektif ekonomi Islam selama periode 2004–2023. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data sekunder berbentuk time series yang bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), Bank Indonesia (BI), Gabungan Pengusaha Kelapa Sawit Indonesia (GAPKI), dan World Bank. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda dengan metode Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) yang diolah menggunakan perangkat lunak EViews 10. Sebelum dilakukan pengujian hipotesis, model telah memenuhi uji asumsi klasik yang meliputi uji normalitas, multikolinearitas, heteroskedastisitas, dan autokorelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial variabel produksi dan harga komoditas tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ekspor minyak kelapa sawit di Indonesia. Sebaliknya, variabel nilai tukar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ekspor minyak kelapa sawit di Indonesia. Sementara itu, secara simultan variabel produksi, harga komoditas, dan nilai tukar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ekspor minyak kelapa sawit di Indonesia. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun tidak seluruh variabel memiliki pengaruh secara individual, kombinasi ketiga variabel tersebut mampu menjelaskan perubahan ekspor minyak kelapa sawit Indonesia. Dalam perspektif ekonomi Islam, kegiatan ekspor merupakan bagian dari aktivitas perdagangan (tijarah) yang diperbolehkan selama dilaksanakan berdasarkan prinsip keadilan (al 'adl), kemaslahatan (maslahah), kejujuran (ṣidq), serta tidak mengandung unsur riba, gharar, dan maysir. Oleh karena itu, kebijakan pengembangan ekspor minyak kelapa sawit hendaknya tidak hanya berorientasi pada peningkatan devisa negara, tetapi juga memperhatikan keberlanjutan, kesejahteraan masyarakat, dan nilai nilai syariah.
