Abstract

Mahasiswa tingkat akhir berada pada fase transisi dari dunia pendidikan menuju dunia kerja yang menuntut kesiapan dalam menentukan arah karier secara matang. Namun, masih terdapat mahasiswa yang mengalami kebingungan dalam menentukan pilihan karier akibat kurangnya pemahaman terhadap potensi diri serta minimnya dukungan lingkungan terdekat. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan pentingnya faktor internal dan eksternal dalam pembentukan kematangan karier. Dua faktor yang teridentifikasi berhubungan dengan kematangan karier yaitu konsep diri dan dukungan orang tua. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konsep diri dan dukungan orang tua dengan kematangan karier pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir Program Studi Psikologi Islam Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif korelasional dengan analisis data menggunakan software IBM SPSS Statistics versi 31.0.2.0 dan JAMOVI. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 125 mahasiswa tingkat akhir Program Studi Psikologi Islam UIN Raden Intan Lampung. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala kematangan karier, skala konsep diri, dan skala dukungan orang tua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diperoleh nilai R = 0,800 dan F = 108,313 dengan (p < 0,001) yang berarti terdapat hubungan signifikan antara konsep diri dan dukungan orang tua dengan kematangan karier pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir Program Studi Psikologi Islam Univesitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung. Hipotesis kedua menunjukkan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,778 (p < 0,001) yang berarti terdapat hubungan positif signifikan antara konsep diri dengan kematangan karier. Selanjutnya, hipotesis ketiga diperoleh nilai 0,640 (p < 0,001) yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif signifikan antara dukungan orang tua dengan kematangan karier. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 64%, sedangkan 36% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin positif konsep diri mahasiswa dan semakin tinggi dukungan orang tua yang diterima, maka semakin tinggi pula kematangan karier yang dimiliki. However, there are still students who experience confusion in determining their career choices due to a lack of understanding of their potential and the lack of support from the nearest environment. This condition shows the importance of internal and external factors in the formation of career maturity. Two factors identified are related to career maturity, namely self-concept and parental support. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-concept and parental support and career maturity in final year students of the Islamic Psychology Study Program UIN Raden Intan Lampung. The research method used was quantitative correlation with data analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics software version 31.0.2.0 and JAMOVI. The sample in this study amounted to 125 final year students of the Islamic Psychology Study Program UIN Raden Intan Lampung. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The data collection method used the career maturity scale, self-concept scale, and parental support scale. The results of the study showed that the values of R = 0.800 and F = 108.313 with (p < 0.001) which means that there is a significant relationship between self-concept and parental support and career maturity in final year students of the Islamic Psychology Study Program UIN Raden Intan Lampung. The second hypothesis showed a correlation coefficient of 0.778 (p < 0.001) which means that there is a significant positive relationship between self-concept and career maturity. Furthermore, the third hypothesis obtained a value of 0.640 (p < 0.001) which shows that there is a significant positive relationship between parental support and career maturity. The independent variable in this study provided an effective contribution of 64%, while the other 36% were influenced by other factors outside the study. These findings show that the more positive the student's self-concept and the higher the parental support received, the higher the career maturity they have.
