Abstract
Kata Kunci : Return On Asset, Net Profit Margin, inflasi, nilai tukar, harga saham, pasar modal ABSTRACT Stock prices are influenced by various factors, including company fundamental factors and external macroeconomic factors. Fundamental factors can be reflected through Return On Asset (ROA) and Net Profit Margin (NPM), while external factors can be reflected through inflation and exchange rates. In addition, the boycott phenomenon toward companies considered to have affiliations with Israel has attracted public and investor attention because it has the potential to affect economic activities and the stock price movements of related companies. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of Return On Asset (ROA), Net Profit Margin (NPM), inflation, and exchange rates on the stock prices of companies affiliated with Israel listed on Bursa Malaysia and the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2019–2024 period from an Islamic perspective. This study employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The research sample consists of 7 companies selected through purposive sampling, comprising 3 companies listed on Bursa Malaysia and 4 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used are secondary data obtained from company financial reports and official publications from both stock exchanges. The results show that partially there are differences in the influence of variables across markets. In Bursa Malaysia, ROA has a significant positive effect and NPM has a significant negative effect on stock prices. Meanwhile, on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, ROA has no significant effect, while NPM has a significant positive effect on stock prices. Inflation and exchange rates do not have a significant effect on stock prices in both markets. Simultaneously, ROA, NPM, inflation, and exchange rates significantly affect stock prices, with a stronger model influence found in Bursa Malaysia.
