Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan utama berupa ketidakmampuan peserta didik mempresentasikan hasil pembelajaran dan kurang aktifnya peserta didik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran khususnya pada materi biologi. Berangkat dari hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari model pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) terhadap kemampuan representasi visual dan keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik kelas XI pada mata pelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian Quasi Experimental Design dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest dan posttest control. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Blambangan Umpu dengan teknik dilakukan menggunakan metode Cluster Random Sampling dan sampel penelitian sebanyak dua kelas yaitu kelas XI 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrument penelitian berupa soal tes essay kemamapuan representasi visual materi sistem imun dan instrumen non tes yaitu lembar observasi, dan angket keterampilan kolaborasi yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa uji hipotesis memperoleh nilai Sig. 0,000 maka sesuai dengan kriteria uji Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) berarti H1 diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) terhadap kemmapuan representasi visual peserta didik kelas XI pada mata pelajaran biologi. Dan mendapat Sig. 0.000 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik 1. kelas XI pada mata pelajaran biologi. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the main problem of students' inability to present learning outcomes and their lack of active participation in learning activities, particularly in biology. Based on this, this research aims to determine the effect of the Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) learning model on the visual representation abilities and collaboration skills of grade XI students in biology subjects. This research is a quantitative study using a QuasiExperimental Design, specifically the pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was all grade XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Blambangan Umpu. The sampling technique was conducted using the Cluster Random Sampling method, selecting two classes as the research sample: class XI 2 as the experimental class and class XI 3 as the control class. The research instruments consisted of an essay test to measure visual representation ability on the immune system material, and non-test instruments, namely observation sheets and collaboration skills questionnaires, which had been validated by experts. The analysis results showed that the hypothesis testing obtained a Sig. value of 0.000. According to the criteria of the Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) test, this means H1 is accepted, indicating that there is a significant effect of the Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) learning model on the visual representation abilities of grade XI students in biology. Furthermore, another Sig. value of 0.000 was obtained, which means there is also a significant effect of the Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) learning model on the collaboration skills of grade XI students in biology.
