Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan hasil pra penelitian yang dilakukan di SMPN 22 Bandar Lampung, masih rendanya kemampuan berpikir kritis dan self regulation peserta didik. Sehingga dibutuhkannya inovasi baru dalam penerapan model pembelajaran yang sesuai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Argument Driven Inquiry berbasis literasi digital terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan self regulation peserta didik kelas VIII pada mata pelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan model Quasy Experimen Design. Desain yang digunkan ialah Pre-test dan Post-test Control Group Design. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan non tes berupa angket self regulation dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas 10 butir soal untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis dan 30 butir pernyataan untuk self regulation. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 22 Bandar Lampung. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling diperoleh kelas VIII.1 (kelas eksperimen) dan VIII.2 (kelas kontrol). Kelas Eksperimen menggunakan model Argument Driven Inquiry dan kelas kontrol menggunakan model Direct Instruction. Uji analisis yang digunakan adalah uji-t independent kemampuan berpikir kritis dan self regulation menunjukan nilai yang sama bahwa sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 < α (0.05), maka H0 di tolak dan H1 diterima. Sehingga hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan pembelajaran Argument Driven Inquiry berbasis literasi digital terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan self regulation peserta didik kelas VIII pada mata pelajaran biologi. ABSTRACT Based on the results of the pre-research conducted at SMPN 22 Bandar Lampung, the students' critical thinking skills and selfregulation are still lacking. So that new innovations are needed in the implementation of appropriate learning models. This study aims to determine the influence of the digital literacy-based Argument Driven Inquiry model on the critical thinking skills and self-regulation of grade VIII students in biology subjects. This research is a quantitative research with the Quasy Experiment Design model. The design used is Pre-test and Post-test Control Group Design. The data collection technique consists of critical thinking ability tests and non-tests in the form of self-regulation questionnaires and documentation. The research instrument consisted of 10 questions to measure critical thinking skills and 30 statements for self-regulation. The population in this study is all students of grade VIII SMPN 22 Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique in this study uses cluster random sampling techniques obtained from classes VIII.1 (experimental class) and VIII.2 (control class). The Experiment class uses the Argument Driven Inquiry model and the control class uses the Direct Instruction model. The analysis test used was an independent t-test of critical thinking ability and self-regulation showing the same value that sig. (2- tailed) of 0.000 < α (0.05), then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So that the results of this study can be concluded that there is an effect of the use of digital literacy-based Argument Driven Inquiry learning on the critical thinking skills and self-regulation of grade VIII students in biology subjects.
