Abstract

ABSTRAK Peserta didik membutuhkan kemampuan metakognitif agar peserta didik mampu suatu cara untuk mengatur kemampuan berpikir sendiri. Berdasarkan hasil pra-penelitian di SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung di Enggal, Bandar Lampung menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan metakognitif peserta didik masih tergolong rendah. Kemampuan metakognitif mengacu pada pengetahuan dan pengamatan individu dalam mengontrol aktivitas kognitif seseorang yang memerlukan keterampilan metakognitif seperti perencanaan dan evaluasi, maka dengan adanya kemampuan metakognitif pada peserta didik akan memudahkan mereka dalam menghadapi permasalahan di dunia nyata. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Basid Lening (PBL) - Student TeamsAchievement Divisions (STAD) terhadap kemampuan metakognitif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasy experiment. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pretest-posttest cantol group design. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung dengan teknik sampling yaitu Cluster Random Sampling yang menghasilkan sampel kelas X4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan meliputi tes PG (Open Ended) dan angket. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) - Student TeamsAchievement Divisions (STAD) terhadap kemampuan metakognitif kelas X pada mata pelajaran Biologi dengan nilai Sig. p-value 0,00 < 0,005. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning (PBL) - Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan metakognitif peserta didik. ABSTRACT Students need metacognitive skills so that students are able to find a way to manage their own thinking skills. Based on the results of the pre-research at SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung in Enggal, Bandar Lampung, it shows that the metacognitive ability of students is still relatively low. Metacognitive ability refers to individual knowledge and observation in controlling a person's cognitive activity that requires metacognitive skills such as planning and evaluation, so the existence of metacognitive abilities in students will make it easier for them to face problems in the real world. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the Problem Basid Lening (PBL) - Student TeamsAchievement Divisions (STAD) learning model on metacognitive abilities. The research method used is the Quasy experiment. The research design used was pretest-posttest cantol group design. The research population is all students of class X of SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung with a sampling technique, namely Cluster Random Sampling which produces class X4 samples as an experimental class and class X5 as a control class. The research instruments used included PG (Open Ended) tests and questionnaires. The data analysis used in this study was the normality test, homogeneity test, and independent sample t-test. The results showed that there was an influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) - Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD) learning model on the metacognitive ability of class X in Biology subjects with a Sig. p-value of 0.00 < 0.005. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) - Student TeamsAchievement Divisions (STAD) model can improve students' metacognitive abilities.
