Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap kreativitas peserta didik kelas V MIN 1 Pesawaran. Kreativitas merupakan salah satu kemampuan penting yang perlu dikembangkan dalam proses pembelajaran, khususnya pada mata pelajaran Seni rupa, karena berkaitan dengan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menuangkan ide, menghasilkan kya yang orisinal, serta berpikir secara fleksibel dan inovatif. Rendahnya kreativitas peserta didik yang ditandai dengan kurangnya variasi ide dan ketergantungan pada contoh yang diberikan guru menjadi dasar perlunya penerapan model pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan berpusat pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experimental). Subjek penelitian terdiri atas dua kelas, yaitu kelas ekperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui Tes Unjuk Kerja Kreativitas, sedangkan analisi data meliputi uji validitas, reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, serta uji hipotesis menggunakan uji independen sample t-test Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap kreativitas peserta didik kelas V MIN 1 Pesawaran. Peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model PjBL menunjukkan tingkat kreativitas yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik, khususnya pada pembelajaran Seni rupa di madrasah ibtidaiyah. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on the creativity of fifth-grade students at MIN 1 Pesawaran. Creativity is one of the essential abilities that needs to be developed in the learning process, particularly in Cultural Arts subjects, as it is closely related to students’ ability to express ideas, produce original works, and think flexibly and innovatively. The low level of students’ creativity, which is indicated by a lack of idea variation and a high dependence on examples provided by the teacher, underlies the need for the implementation of a more innovative and student-centered learning model. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasiexperimental research design. The research subjects consisted of two classes: an experimental class and a control class. The experimental class was taught using the Project Based Learning model, while the control class applied the Contextual Teaching and Learning model. Data were collected through a creativity test, and data analysis included validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, homogeneity testing, and hypothesis testing using the independent sample ttest. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant effect of the implementation of the Project Based Learning model on the creativity of fifth-grade students at MIN 1 Pesawaran. Students who participated in learning through the PjBL model demonstrated higher levels of creativity compared to those who followed the Contextual Teaching and Learning model.
