Abstract

ABSTRAK PEMBIASAAN SHOLAT DUHA DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER RELIGIUS SISWA DI SMP AL AZHAR 3 BANDAR LAMPUNG Oleh : Wanda Wulandari Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pentingnya pembentukan karakter religius pada generasi muda di tengah krisis moral yang terjadi saat ini. SMP Al Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung menerapkan program pembiasaan sholat dhuha berjamaah sebagai salah satu upaya strategis untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keagamaan ke dalam perilaku sehari-hari siswa. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pembiasaan sholat dhuha serta nilai-nilai karakter religius yang ditanamkan melalui kegiatan tersebut. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif untuk memberikan gambaran mendalam mengenai proses pembiasaan dan dampak yang dihasilkan terhadap karakter siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Penerapan pembiasaan sholat dhuha di SMP Al Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung dilaksanakan secara rutin setiap pagi pada pukul 07.00 WIB sebelum kegiatan belajar mengajar dimulai. Proses ini melibatkan seluruh warga sekolah dan didukung oleh keteladanan guru serta kebijakan internal yang konsisten. (2) Nilai-nilai karakter religius yang berhasil ditanamkan meliputi kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, sopan santun, adab, rasa syukur, serta ketaatan dalam beribadah. Melalui pembiasaan ini, siswa menunjukkan perubahan perilaku positif seperti datang tepat waktu, tertib dalam beribadah, dan memiliki sikap hormat kepada guru serta sesama. ABSTRACT HABIT OF DUHA PRAYER IN FORMING THE RELIGIOUS CHARACTER OF STUDENTS AT SMP AL AZHAR 3 BANDAR LAMPUNG Oleh : Wanda Wulandari This research is motivated by the importance of religious character formation in the younger generation amidst the current moral crisis. Al Azhar 3 Junior High School, Bandar Lampung, implemented a program to familiarize the students with the Dhuha prayer in congregation as a strategic effort to integrate religious values into the students' daily behavior. The focus of this research is to describe the implementation of the Dhuha prayer habit and the religious character values instilled through this activity. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation methods. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively to provide an in-depth picture of the habituation process and the resulting impact on students' character. The results of the study show that: (1) The implementation of the Dhuha prayer habit at Al Azhar 3 Junior High School, Bandar Lampung, is carried out routinely every morning at 07.00 WIB before teaching and learning activities begin. This process involves the entire school community and is supported by teacher role models and consistent internal policies. (2) The religious character values that were successfully instilled included discipline, responsibility, politeness, manners, gratitude, and obedience in worship. Through this habituation, students showed positive behavioral changes such as arriving on time, being orderly in worship, and having a respectful attitude towards teachers and others.
