Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendidikan adalah suatu proses bagi generasi muda agar dapat menjalani kehidupan dan mencapai tujuan hidupnya dengan lebih efektif dan efisien. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk menemukan bagaimana penerapan metode pembelajaran Role Play memengaruhi pemahaman siswa di SMP A. Wahid Hasyim Tebuireng-12 mengenai topik pengurusan jenazah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Untuk itu, sebuah desain pre-test dan post-test diterapkan. Semua siswa yang jumlahnya 33 orang menjadi sampel penelitian dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Dalam penelitian ini, tes pilihan ganda yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya digunakan. Selain itu, analisis data dilakukan dengan uji prasyarat dan pengujian hipotesis. Untuk analisis statistik, program SPSS dengan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test digunakan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor pretest dan skor post-test. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Role Play berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman siswa mengenai topik pengelolaan jenazah. ABSTRACT Education is a process for young people to live their lives and achieve their goals more effectively and efficiently. The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of the Role Play learning method affects students' understanding of the topic of corpse management at SMP A. Wahid Hasyim Tebuireng-12. This study uses a quantitative approach. For this purpose, a pre-test and post-test design was applied. All 33 students became the research sample with a saturated sampling technique. In this study, a multiple-choice test that has been tested for validity and reliability was used. In addition, data analysis was carried out by prerequisite testing and hypothesis testing. For statistical analysis, the SPSS program with the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test was used. The results of the study showed a significant difference between the pre-test and posttest scores. Thus, it can be concluded that the Role Play learning model has an effect on students' understanding of the topic of corpse management.
