Abstract

ABSTRAK IDENTIFIKASI KEANEKARAGAMAN MOLLUSCA ( GASTROPODA) YANG TERDAPAT DI PULAU TANJUNG PUTUS KABUPATEN PESAWARAN Oleh JENNY ANJELICA Pulau Tanjung Putus berada di Desa sukarame, merupakan Pulau dengan daerah pasang surut yang memiliki area luas serta variasi substrat dan terdapat Keanekaragaman jenis biota. Biota yang umum dijumpai di Pulau Tanjung Putus salah satunya Molusca (Gastropoda). Gastropoda dapat berperan sebagai penyedian sumber pangan, menjaga stabilitas lingkungan dan bioindikator. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Keanekaragaman Gastropoda di pulau Tanjung Putus Desa Sukarame, Kabupaten Pesawaran. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di bulan Agustus 2025. Identifikasi moluska dilakukan dengan menggunakan buku FAO The Living Marine Resources od Western Central Pasific Volume 1 (1998) dan Siput dan Kerang Indonesia (Indonesia Shells) (1988) dengan metode Line- transek yang dikombinasi dengan metode kuadran. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan ditemukan individu 57 yang berasal dari 8 spesies. Gastropoda yang ditemukan beberapa spesies, Conus textile, Lambis chiragra,Monoplex parthenopeus, Natiocarius canrena, Telescopium telescopium, Trocus sp, Vexillum plicarium, Monetaria annulus. Kata kunci: Gastropoda, Keanekaragaman, pulau tanjung putus, mollusca, sukarame, pesawaran iii ABSTRACT IDENTIFICATION OF MOLLUSCA (GASTROPODA) DIVERSITY FOUND ON TANJUNG PUTUS ISLAND, PESAWARAN REGENCY By JENNY ANJELICA Tanjung Putus Island is located in Sukarame Village and is a tidal area with a wide range of substrates and a high diversity of biota. One of the commonly found biota on Tanjung Putus Island is Mollusca (Gastropoda). Gastropods play important roles as a food source, in maintaining environmental stability, and as bioindicators. This study aims to determine the diversity of Gastropods on Tanjung Putus Island, Sukarame Village, Pesawaran Regency. The research was conducted in August 2025. The identification of mollusks was carried out using the books FAO The Living Marine Resources of Western Central Pacific Volume 1 (1998) and Snails and Shells of Indonesia (Indonesia Shells) (1988) with a line-transect method combined with a quadrat method. Based on the research conducted, 57 individual gastropods from 8 species were found. The identified gastropod species include Conus textile, Lambis chiragra, Monoplex parthenopeus, Naticarius canrena, Telescopium telescopium, Trocus sp., Vexillum plicarium, and Monetaria annulus.
