Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to explore students' experiences in using English Menfess on the X application and how the platform contributes to their vocabulary mastery. Many students still experience difficulties in learning and applying new vocabulary, and English Menfess has become one of the digital platforms that enable learners to practice English informally through interaction, questions, and discussions. This research uses a qualitative method with a narrative inquiry design. Four participants were chosen through purposive sampling, and data were collected through narrative interviews and documentation. The data were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana framework, which consists of data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the research show that students obtained many benefits from using English Menfess, such as more exposure to new vocabulary, better understanding of word usage in context, and higher confidence in using English. The interactive features on X also help students learn vocabulary naturally through real communication. In addition, the relaxed and supportive environment makes students feel free to interact with the content, ask questions, and observe how vocabulary is used by others without fear of judgment and feel more comfortable practicing English. In conclusion, English Menfess contributes positively to students' vocabulary mastery by providing an engaging, contextual, and flexible learning space. This platform can be considered as a useful informal learning platform to support English language learning. Keywords: English Menfess, Vocabulary Mastery, Narrative Inquiry.
