Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di MIN 1 Bandar Lampung akibat penerapan pembelajaran konvensional yang cenderung pasif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Round Table terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas V. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu tipe Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Dengan populasi penelitian sebanyak 58 peserta didik yang terdiri dari 31 peserta didik kelas eksperimen dan 27 peserta didik kelas kontrol.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket (kuisioner), sedangkan Instrumen menggunakan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Dalam uji prasyarat analisis menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas setelah itu uji-t angket minat belajar diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) lebih kecil dari 0,05 yang dapat dirumuskan sehingga dapat diartikan yang model Round Table terhadap peningkatan minat belajar siswa. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa model Round Table efektif menciptakan suasana belajar kolaboratif, aktif, dan menyenangkan. Implikasi praktis dari temuan ini adalah perlunya guru madrasah menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif untuk menumbuhkan motivasi intrinsik dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran IPAS di tingkat Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Round Table berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap minat belajar peserta didik.Oleh sebab itu model pembelajaran round table dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif untuk meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPAS di Sekolah Dasar. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the Round Table cooperative learning model on the learning interest of fifth grade students. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi experimental design of the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study population was 58 students, consisting of 31 students in the experimental class and 27 students in the control class. The data collection technique used a questionnaire, while the instrument used validity and reliability tests. In the prerequisite test analysis, normality and homogeneity tests were used. After that, the t-test of the learning interest questionnaire obtained a sig. (2-tailed) value smaller Round Table model has an effect on increasing learning interest.Students. The conclusion of this study confirms that the Round Table model is effective in creating a collaborative, active, and enjoyable learning atmosphere. The practical implication of this finding is the need for madrasah teachers to implement cooperative learning models to foster intrinsic motivation and student engagement in science learning at the elementary school level is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Round Table learning model has a significant effect on student learning interest. Therefore, the Round Table learning model can be used as an alternative to increase student learning interest in science in elementary schools.
