Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to analyze and describe the communication strategy of the Program Santri Mengabdi in improving the religious preaching competence of santri at Ma’had Al-Jami’ah UIN Raden Intan Lampung. This program is a strategic effort by the Islamic boarding school to equip santri with practical experience in preaching and social adjustment skills. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the implementation of the Program Santri Mengabdi is organized in a structured manner and adheres to the planned stages of the communication strategy for religious outreach, which include the research stage, planning stage, implementation stage, evaluation stage, and reporting stage. The implementation of this program resulted in the comprehensive development of santri's religious preaching competencies, which included strengthening their communication skills (Tablighiyah), social skills (Ijtima'iyah), and spiritual skills (Ruhiyah), with the basic values of Islamic boarding schools as the main foundation. The main supporting factors for the program are institutional support, student motivation, and the society's acceptability, despite obstacles related to academic schedules and internal factors among students. The conclusion of this research confirms that the Program Santri Mengabdi is effective and organized in developing the preaching competencies of santri, both in terms of knowledge, skills, and attitudes, and is expected to become a boarding school human resource development model that is ready to play an active part as a preaching agent and social changer in society. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan Strategi Komunikasi Dakwah Program Santri Mengabdi dalam meningkatkan kompetensi dakwah santri Ma’had AlJami’ah UIN Raden Intan Lampung. Program ini merupakan upaya strategis pesantren untuk membekali santri dengan pengalaman praktis berdakwah dan kemampuan adaptasi sosial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan Program Santri Mengabdi terimplementasi secara terstruktur, mengikuti tahapan strategi komunikasi dakwah yang terencana meliputi tahap penelitian (research), perencanaan (plan), pelaksanaan (execute), evaluasi (measure), dan pelaporan (report). Pelaksanaan program ini menghasilkan pembentukan kompetensi dakwah santri secara menyeluruh, yang mencakup penguatan pada aspek kompetensi komunikasi (Tablighiyah), kompetensi sosial (Ijtima’iyah), dan kompetensi spiritual (Ruhiyah), dengan nilai-nilai dasar pesantren sebagai fondasi utama. Faktor pendukung utama program adalah dukungan institusi, motivasi santri, dan keterbukaan masyarakat, meskipun terdapat hambatan terkait jadwal akademik dan faktor internal santri. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa Program Santri Mengabdi efektif dan terstruktur dalam mengembangkan kompetensi dakwah santri, baik dari aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan, maupun sikap, dan diharapkan dapat menjadi model pengembangan sumber daya manusia pesantren yang siap berperan aktif sebagai agen dakwah dan perubahan sosial di masyarakat.
