Abstract
Kata kunci: Azolla microphylla Kaulf., Kulit Bawang Merah, Pupuk Organik Cair, Tanaman Tomat Rampai. ii ABSTARCT Liquid organic fertilizer (POC) is an environmentally friendly fertilizer alternative that can provide nutrients and bioactive compounds for plants. Azolla microphylla Kaulf. and shallot skin (Allium cepa L.) are known to contain macro- and micronutrients and natural phytohormones that have the potential to increase plant growth. This study aimed to determine the effect of applying POC made from Azolla microphylla Kaulf. and shallot skin on the growth of rampai tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum L. var. cerasiforme). The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with six treatments and three replications: P0 (control), P1 (Biogen 2 ml/L), P2 (25 ml/L POC), P3 (35 ml/L), P4 (45 ml/L), and P5 (55 ml/L). Observed parameters included plant height, number of leaves, flowering time, number of fruits, and fruit weight. Data were analyzed using ANOVA followed by Duncan's test at the 5% level. The results showed that all observed parameters responded significantly differently between treatments. Treatment P5 (55 ml/L) produced the best growth in plant height and leaf number, and accelerated flowering to 21 days after planting. In terms of yield, P5 also produced the highest number of fruits, at 25, and the highest fruit weight, at 25 kg. Treatment P4 (45 ml/L) produced the second-highest yield in terms of fruit number (22). Overall, increasing the concentration of POC was directly proportional to increased plant growth and productivity, with P5 being the most effective treatment in enhancing both vegetative and generative growth of the tomato plants.
