Abstract

ABSTRAK Peserta didik adalah generasi penerus bangsa yang perlu disiapkan untuk kemajuan berbagai bidang, bimbingan dan konseling, sesuai dengan UU Mendiknas No. 22/2006 berperan penting dalam pengembangan diri peserta didik. Dalam proses belajar peserta didik terkadang mengalami masalah yang dipenagruhi oleh berbagai faktor mulai dari faktor internal maupun eksternal. Oleh karena itu, penting menerapkan layanan konseling yang efektif seperti layanan konseling kelompok dengan Teknik Positive Reinforcement untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik di SMA Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Desain penelitian ini adalah studi kasus dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sumber penelitian ini terdiri dari data primer, yaitu wawancara dengan peserta didik dan guru BK serta data sekunder dari catatan dan dokumentasi sekolah. Teknik analisis data melibatkan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan menggunakan pendekatan induktif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan 8 peserta didik di kelas X di SMA Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah. Implementasi konseling kelompok dengan Teknik Positive Reinforcement efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik, yang ditandai dengan keaktifan, minat, dan disiplin belajar. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pent8inganya konseling kelompok Teknik Positive Reinforcement sebagai strategi untuk mendukung prestasi akademik dan psikososial peseta didik. Guidance and counselling, in accordance with the Ministry of Education Law No. 22/2006, play an important role in the personal development of students. In the learning process, students sometimes experience problems influenced by various factors, ranging from internal to external factors. Therefore, it is important to implement effective counselling services, such as group counselling services using positive reinforcement techniques, to increase the learning motivation of students at SMA Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research design is a case study with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research sources consist of primary data, namely interviews with students and guidance counsellors, as well as secondary data from school records and documentation. The data analysis technique involves data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing using an inductive approach. The results of this study show that eight students in class X at SMA Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung have low learning motivation. The implementation of group counselling using the Positive Reinforcement Technique is effective in increasing students' learning motivation, as indicated by their activity, interest, and discipline in learning. The implications of this study emphasise the importance of Positive Reinforcement Technique group counselling as a strategy to support the academic and psychosocial achievements of students.
