Abstract

ABSTRAK Toko DSAWD Collection, sebuah usaha ritel di bidang Fashion, menghadapi berbagai kendala operasional karena masih mengandalkan sistem pencatatan manual. Proses transaksi penjualan dicatat menggunakan media kertas yang kemudian dipindahkan ke komputer, namun pengarsipan utama tetap berbasis kertas. Sistem konvensional ini menimbulkan sejumlah permasalahan signifikan, seperti seringnya terjadi kesalahan dalam pencatatan data, kesulitan dan lambatnya proses pencarian arsip transaksi, serta inefisiensi dalam pengelolaan data penjualan dan pembuatan laporan. Akibatnya, operasional toko menjadi kurang efektif dan rentan terhadap ketidakakuratan data. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan sistem model Waterfall yang dilakukan secara sekuensial melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi langsung terhadap proses bisnis di toko serta wawancara dengan pemilik untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan fungsional dan non fungsional sistem. Aplikasi Point of Sale (POS) ini dirancang dan dibangun sebagai aplikasi berbasis Website dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, framework Laravel, dan sistem manajemen basis data MySQL. Pengujian fungsionalitas sistem dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Black-Box Testing untuk memastikan setiap fitur berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah aplikasi Point of Sale (POS) berbasis Website yang fungsional dan siap diimplementasikan untuk Toko DSAWD Collection. Aplikasi ini berhasil mengatasi permasalahan sistem manual dengan menyediakan fitur-fitur utama seperti manajemen transaksi digital, pengelolaan data produk dan stok, manajemen pengguna dengan hak akses berbeda untuk Admin dan Kasir, serta pembuatan laporan otomatis yang dapat difilter dan di ekspor. Berdasarkan pengujian menggunakan metode black-box, seluruh fungsionalitas aplikasi terbukti berjalan dengan baik dan sesuai dengan spesifikasi kebutuhan yang telah di rancang. Kesimpulannya, aplikasi POS ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi, mempercepat layanan transaksi, dan mempermudah proses pembuatan laporan, sehingga menjadi solusi efektif bagi Toko DSAWD Collection. ABSTRACT DSAWD Collection store, a retail business in the Fashion sector, faces several operational obstacles due to its reliance on a manual recording system. Sales transactions are recorded on paper and later transferred to a computer, but the primary archiving remains paper based. This conventional system leads to significant problems, such as frequent errors in data entry, difficulty and delays in searching for transaction archives, and inefficiency in managing sales data and generating reports. Consequently, the store's operations are less effective and prone to data inaccuracies. This research employed the Waterfall system development model, which proceeds sequentially through several stages: requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data Collection was conducted through direct observation of the store's business processes and interviews with the owner to identify the system's functional and non-functional requirements. The Point of Sale (POS) Application was designed and built as a Website based Application using the PHP programming language, the Laravel framework, and the MySQL database management system. The system's functionality was evaluated using the Black-Box Testing method to ensure that every feature operates as expected. The result of this research is a functional and implementation ready Website based Point of Sale (POS) Application for DSAWD Collection store. The Application successfully addresses the problems of the manual system by providing key features such as digital transaction management, product and stock data administration, user management with distinct access rights for Admin and Cashier roles, and an automatic reporting system with filtering and export capabilities. Based on black-box testing, all Application functionalities were proven to work correctly and in accordance with the designed requirement specifications. In conclusion, this POS Application can enhance efficiency, accelerate transaction services, and simplify the report generation process, thereby providing an effective solution for DSAWD Collection store.
