Abstract

ABSTRACT Research has been conducted on the development of an e module based on problem-based learning of narrative text by using Canva for VIII grade Junior High School (SMP/MTs) students. This research was conducted to: (1) describe the process of developing an e-module based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) of Narrative Text for Junior High School by using Canva, (2) examine the feasibility of the developed e-module, and (3) investigate the responses of teachers and students toward the e-module. The study was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Kalirejo using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4D model by Thiagarajan. The subjects of this research were VIII grade students of Junior High Schools (SMP/MTs). The data were collected through material expert validation questionnaires, media expert validation questionnaires, and teachers and student response questionnaires. The results showed that the developed e-module obtained a score of 87.22% from material experts and 87.46% from media experts, both categorized as highly feasible. Teacher responses reached 89.40%, while small group trials obtained 90.53% and large group trial/field trials 90.61%, both categorized as very interesting. Therefore, it can be concluded that the E-Module Based on Problem Based Learning of Narrative Text for Junior High School by Using Canva is feasible and interesting to be used as a learning media.
