Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya kejenuhan belajar peserta didik di sekolah. Permasalahan ini terdapat pada peserta didik kelas XIII Unggul 3 di MTs N 2 Bandar Lampung Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana penerapan konseling kelompok serta hambatan-hambatan layanan konseling kelompok teknik symbolic modelling dalam mengatasi kejenuhan belajar peserta didik di MTs N 2 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah wawancara, observasi, serta dokumentasi, dan teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah teori Kejenuhan Belajar Schaufeli dan Enzman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) pelaksanaan konseling kelompok dilakukan dengan tahapan yaitu, tahap prakonseling, tahap permulaan, tahap transisi, tahap kerja, tahap akhir, tahap pascakonseling. Dalam penggunaan teknik symbolic modelling tahapan-tahapan yang dilakukan ialah proses perhatian, proses retensi, proses produksi, dan proses motivasi. 2) peserta didik tidak memiliki hambatan pada saat proses pelaksanaan yang santai dengan dinamika kelompok yang baik antar anggota kelompok dan ketua kelompok serta penyampaian dan penjelasan yang mudah dipahami oleh peserta didik. Sedangkan bagi guru bimbingan dan konseling dan penulis hambatan yang dirasakan dalam pelaksanaan layanan konseling kelompok kurangnya sarana dan prasarana yang memadai serta waktu konseling yang menyesuaikan dengan waktu pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru mata pelajaran yang menjadi hambatan penulis selama malakukan penelitian. Kata Kunci: Konseling Kelompok, Teknik Symbolic Modelling, Kejenuhan Belajar. ii ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the presence of learning burnout among students at school. This issue was found among the students of Class XIII Unggul 3 at MTs N 2 Bandar Lampung. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of group counseling and the obstacles encountered in delivering group counseling services using the symbolic modeling technique to overcome students’ learning burnout at MTs N 2 Bandar Lampung. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study design. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The theory used in this study is Schaufeli and Enzman’s theory of learning burnout. The results of the study show that: 1) The group counseling implementation follows several stages, namely: the pre-counseling stage, initial stage, transition stage, working stage, ending stage, and post-counseling stage. In applying the symbolic modeling technique, the stages involved include the attention process, retention process, production process, and motivation process. 2) Students did not experience any significant obstacles during the counseling sessions, as the sessions were relaxed, had good group dynamics between members and the group leader, and the delivery and explanations were easy for students to understand. However, the guidance and counseling teacher and the researcher faced several challenges, such as inadequate facilities and infrastructure, as well as limited counseling time due to the need to adjust to the subject teachers' teaching schedules.
