Abstract
ABSTRAK Persaingan industri smartphone yang semakin ketat menuntut perusahaan untuk tidak hanya menghadirkan produk berkualitas, tetapi juga membangun nilai merek dan pengalaman yang positif agar mampu menciptakan kepuasan pelanggan. Dalam konteks ini, penelitian mengenai brand experience dan brand equity menjadi penting karena keduanya diyakini berkontribusi terhadap tingkat customer satisfaction. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh brand experience dan brand equity terhadap customer satisfaction pada pengguna smartphone Samsung di Kota Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik survei melalui kuesioner kepada 100 responden. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa brand experience berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap customer satisfaction, brand equity berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap customer satisfaction, serta brand experience dan brand equity secara simultan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap customer satisfaction. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pengalaman merek yang baik dan ekuitas merek yang kuat mampu meningkatkan kepuasan konsumen terhadap produk Samsung. Kesimpulannya,2 perusahaan perlu menjaga konsistensi branding, meningkatkan kualitas produk, serta menghadirkan pengalaman positif bagi konsumen agar kepuasan pelanggan dapat tercapai secara optimal. Penelitian ini juga memperkuat relevansi teori Marketing Management dan Expectancy Disconfirmation Theory dalam menjelaskan perilaku konsumen, serta memberikan kontribusi pada literatur mengenai perilaku konsumen Muslim dalam memilih produk teknologi yang sesuai dengan prinsip syariah. ABSTRACT: The increasingly fierce competition in the smartphone industry demands companies to not only deliver quality products but also build brand value and positive experiences to create customer satisfaction. In this context, research on brand experience and brand equity is important because both are believed to contribute to the level of customer satisfaction. This study aims to determine the effect of brand experience and brand equity on customer satisfaction among Samsung smartphone users in Bandar Lampung City. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey technique through a questionnaire to 100 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with the help of SmartPLS 4 software. The results show that brand experience has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, brand equity has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, and brand experience and brand equity simultaneously have a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction. These findings confirm that a good brand experience and strong brand equity can increase consumer satisfaction with Samsung products. In conclusion, companies need to maintain branding consistency, improve product quality, and provide a positive experience for consumers to achieve optimal customer satisfaction. This research also strengthens the relevance of Marketing Management theory and Expectancy Disconfirmation Theory in explaining consumer behavior, and contributes to the literature on Muslim consumer behavior in choosing technology products that comply with sharia principles.
