Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan metakognisi pada pembelajaran abad 21 sangat diperlukan untuk mendukung kesuksesan belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh temuan permasalahan rendahnya kemampuan metakognisi berdasarkan hasil prapenelitia, yang disebabkan kurangnya menggali pengetahuan awal dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga peserta didik tidak berperan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, And Society) Berbantuan E-Poster terhadap kemampuan metakognisi peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Biologi kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Buay Bahuga. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode Quasy Eksperimen. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1Buay Bahuga. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Cluster Rendom Sampling dan mendapatkan kelas X1 dengan sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X3 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan masing-masing berjumlah 25 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa soal tes dan angket kemampuan metakognisi sesuai indikator Berdasarkan hasil olah data yang di peroleh dari proses penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis data uji Independent Samples 1-Test menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari model pembelajaran SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, And Society) Berbantuan E-Poster terhadap kemampuan metakognisi peserta didik yang ditunjukkan pada nilai sig. 0,000 > 0,05 yang berarti H0, diterima dan H1, ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari model pembelajaran SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, And Society) Berbantuan E-Poster terhadap kemampuan metakognisi peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Biologi kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Buay Bahuga. Kata kunci: SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, And Society),E-poster, Kemampuan Metakognisi ii ABSTRAK Metacognition skills in 21st-century learning is essential to support student learning success. This research was motivated by the findings of low metacognitive abilities based on pre-research results, which were caused by a lack of prior knowledge exploration during the learning process, resulting in students not actively participating in the learning process. This study aimed to determine the effect of the SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, and Society) learning model assisted by E-Posters on students' metacognitive abilities in Biology in grade X students at SMA Negeri 1 Buay Bahuga. This research was quantitative using the Quasy Experiment method. The population was all grade X students of SMA Negeri 1 Buay Bahuga. The sample was taken using the Cluster Random Sampling technique, resulting in class X1 as the experimental class and class X3 as the control class, each with 25 students. Data collection techniques included test questions and a metacognitive ability questionnaire based on the indicators. Based on the results of the data processing obtained from the research process using the Independent Samples One-Test (I-Test), it was shown that there was a significant effect of the SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, and Society) learning model assisted by E Posters on students' metacognitive abilities, as indicated by a significance value of 0.000 > 0.05, meaning H0 was accepted and H1 was rejected. This indicates that the SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, and Society) learning model assisted by E-Posters has an effect on students' metacognitive abilities in the Biology subject of grade 10 at SMA Negeri 1 Buay Bahuga.
