Abstract

ABSTRAK KEANEKARAGAMAN JENIS BURUNG DI BUKIT CENDANA KECAMATAN WAY RATAI, KABUPATEN PESAWARAN Oleh: Siti Nurkhasanah Bukit Cendana berada di Kabupaten Pesawaran yang merupakan salah satu Kawasan ekosistem yang memiliki keanekeragaman yang tinggi. Bukit Cendana memiliki area yang cukup luas dan masih terdapat pepohonan yang tinggi dan Semak belukar yang memungkinkan menjadi tempat habitat burung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis burung yang terdapat di Bukit Cendana melalui tingkat keanekaragaman jenis burung serta mengetahui status burung-burung tersebut. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei juni 2025, jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode point count (titik hitung). Identifikasi jenis burung menggunakan buku identifikasi burung. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan indeks keanekaragaman Shannon Wiener pada stasiun 1 yaitu 1,22, stasiun 2 yaitu 1,01 dan stasiun 3 yaitu 2,27. Sehingga ke tiga stasiun ini memiliki kategori sedang yaitu 1<H’<3. Burung yang tercatat meliputi 24 spesies dari 17 famili. Tercatat 1 spesies yang dilindungi menurut Permen LHK tahun 2018, yaitu burung takur bukit (Megalaima oorti). Kata kunci: Burung, Bukit Cendana, Keanekaragaman. iii ABSTRACT BIRD DIVERSITY IN CENDANA HILL, WAY RATAI DISTRICT, PESAWARAN REGENCY By: Siti Nurkhasanah Cendana Hill, located in Pesawaran Regency, is one of the ecosystem areas with high biodiversity. Cendana Hill has a fairly large area and still contains tall trees and shrubs, which can serve as a potential habitat for birds. This study aims to identify the bird species found in Cendana Hill through the level of bird diversity and to determine the status of these birds. This study was conducted from May to June 2025, using the point count method. Identification of bird species using a bird identification book. The results of this study show the Shannon Wiener diversity index at station 1 is 1.22, station 2 is 1.01 and station 3 is 2.27. So these three stations have a medium category of 1<H<3. The recorded birds include 24 species from 17 families. 1 species is recorded as protected according to the 2018 Ministerial Regulation of the Environment and Forestry, namely the hill hawk-eagle (Megalaima oorti).
