Abstract

ABSTRAK Media Sosial hadir dengan membawa dampak positif dan dampak negatif terutama di kalangan mahasiswa dan pelajar dan dampak tersebut akan timbul ketika digunakan secara berlebih-lebihan. Penyalah gunaan media sosial juga kerap kali muncul media cetak yang didalamnya terdapat gambaran tentang kejadiann-kejadian yang ironis dan sangat berbeda dengan tujuan utama dari media sosial. Dampak terburuk dari pengaruh media sosial yaitu semakin turun hasil belajar siswa di sekolah. Tujuan diadakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan hipotesis bahwa ada “ pengaruh penggunaan media sosial Youtube dan whatsapp terhadap pemahaman dan praktik Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa kelas XI SMK Taruna Bandar Lampung.” diterima (Ha) atau ditolak (Ho) dan untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh penggunaan media sosial terhadap pemahaman dan praktik belajar PAI. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif . Populasi dalam penelitian berjumlah 60 siswa dan sampel berjumlah 30 dari siswa kelas XI, metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode angket dan dan dokumentasi untuk mengetahui data prestasi siswa dan sebagai metode pendukung. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan product moment untuk mengukur besarnya pengaruh penggunaan media sosial dan tingkat signifikansi antara variabel x dan y yang dikonsultasikan dengan r tabel yaitu dengan menggunakan taraf signifikansi 5%. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan dan analisis data menggunakan rumus product moment, diperoleh hasil r hitung dengan r tabel. Dari perhitungan tersebut diperoleh r hitung lebih besar dari r tabel. r hitung sebesar r = 0,602 sedangkan r tabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% sebesar 0,361. Dengan demikian nilai r hitung lebih besar dari r tabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% (0,602 > 0,361). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan media sosial Youtube dan whatsapp terhadap pemahaman dan praktik belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa kelas XI SMK Taruna Bandar Lampung Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan media sosial Youtube dan whatsapp terhadap pemahaman dan praktik belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa kelas XI SMK Taruna Bandar Lampung yaitu dengan kontribusi sebesar 36%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media sosial Youtube dan whatsapp berpengaruh terhadap Pemahaman dan praktik belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam. The misuse of social media also often appears in print media in which there is an image of events that are ironic and very different from the main purpose of social media. The worst impact of the influence of social media is the decline in student learning outcomes in schools. The purpose of this study is to prove the hypothesis that there is "the influence of the use of Youtube and WhatsApp social media on the understanding and practice of Islamic Religious Education of grade XI students of SMK Taruna Bandar Lampung." accepted (Ha) or rejected (Ho) and to find out the magnitude of the influence of social media use on the understanding and learning practice of PAI. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in the study amounted to 60 students and the sample amounted to 30 from grade XI students, the method used to collect data in this study was the questionnaire and documentation method to find out student achievement data and as a supporting method. The analysis technique in this study uses product moment to measure the magnitude of the influence of social media use and the level of significance between variables x and y consulted with r table, namely by using a significance level of 5%. Based on the results of data processing and analysis using the product moment formula, the results of r calculation were obtained with r tables. From this calculation, r is calculated to be greater than r table. r is calculated as r = 0.602 while r is tabled at a significance level of 5% of 0.361. Thus the calculated r value is greater than the r table at a significance level of 5% (0.602 > 0.361). This shows that there is an influence of the use of Youtube and whatsapp social media on the understanding and learning practice of Islamic Religious Education of grade XI students of SMK Taruna Bandar Lampung From the results of the study, it was concluded that there is a significant influence between the use of Youtube and WhatsApp social media on the understanding and learning practice of Islamic Religious Education students in grade XI of SMK Taruna Bandar Lampung, namely with a contribution of 36%. This shows that Youtube and whatsapp social media have an effect on the understanding and learning practice of Islamic Religious Education. Keywords: Social Media Use, Understanding and Practice
