Abstract

Abstract Ahead of the 2024 Presidential and Regional Elections, West Bogor shows active political dynamics. Ulama play an important role in the constellation of the presidential election. A number of clerics have officially declared their support for one of the candidate pairs. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the Ulama Ijtima on Voter Preferences in the 2024 Simultaneous Elections in Indonesia. This type of research uses field research with a mixed method. The population is voters in West Bogor. Quantitative data were taken from questionnaires distributed to 114 respondents. Qualitative data were taken from informants from community members, religious leaders and community leaders. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Quantitative research uses the t-test, F-test and Determinant Coefficient Test (R2). Qualitative research goes through the process of data condensation, data display and checking the validity of the data. The results of the study show that the Ulama Ijtima influences voter preferences with a t-value of 16.614> 1 table 1.981, sig. 0.000 < a (0.05). The results of the study on factors that influence preferences in the 2024 presidential3 election include; issues and policies, health issues, education issues, government performance, achievements and failures, trust and transparency, candidates, media and information, social and political identity, social and environmental conditions, political campaigns and strategies, socioeconomic demographic changes and social welfare: the influence of religion, social mobilization.
