Abstract

ABSTRAK HUBUNGAN INTENSITAS PENGGUNAAN SMARTPHONE DENGAN MOTIVASI MENGHAFAL AL-QUR’AN PADA SISWA MTSN 1 BANDAR LAMPUNG Oleh : Tsania Lana Faiza Menghafal Al-Qur'an merupakan kegiatan pembelajaran yang menekankan pada kemampuan kognitif dalam menghafal ayat-ayat Al�Qur'an. Proses menghafal Alquran melibatkan aktivitas kognitif, psikologis, dan psikomotorik. Motivasi menghafal al-Qur’an adalah kekuatan yang mendorong seseorang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan spiritualnya dengan cara menghafal al-Qur’an serta memiliki tujuan agar nilai-nilai spiritualitasnya tertanam dalam hati. Intensitas penggunaan smartphone merupakan kegiatan menggunakan smartphone yang dilakukan secara berulang-ulang yang didasari oleh perasaan senang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan intensitas penggunaan smartphone dengan motivasi menghafal al-qur’an pada siswa MTsN 1 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling yang melibatkan 61 siswa MTsN 1 Bandar Lampung. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan 2 skala, yaitu skala intensitas penggunaan smartphone sebanyak 29 aitem dan skala motivasi menghafal al-Qur’an sebanyak 22 aitem. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah korelasi product moment dengan bantuan software SPSS 25.0 for windows. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai sebesar R = -0.256 p = 0,046 (p ≤ 0,05). Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan negatif signifikan antara intensitas penggunaan smartphone dengan motivasi menghafal al-qur’an pada siswa MTsN 1 Bandar Lampung dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 0,61%, sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. ABSTRACT The Relationship Between The Intensity Of Smartphone Use And The Motivation To Memorize The Quran Among Students Of Mtsn 1 Bandar Lampung By: Tsania Lana Faiza Memorizing the Qur'an is a learning activity that emphasizes cognitive abilities in memorizing the verses of the Qur'an. The process of memorizing the Qur'an involves cognitive, psychological, and psychomotor activities. Motivation to memorize the Qur'an is the force that drives someone to fulfill their spiritual needs by memorizing the Qur'an and has the goal of instilling spiritual values in their hearts. The intensity of smartphone use is an activity of using a smartphone that is done repeatedly based on feelings of pleasure. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the intensity of smartphone use and the motivation to memorize the Qur'an in students of MTsN 1 Bandar Lampung. This study used a quantitative method with a sampling technique using purposive sampling involving 61 students of MTsN 1 Bandar Lampung. The data collection method used 2 scales, namely the intensity scale of smartphone use as many as 29 items and the motivation scale to memorize the Qur'an as many as 22 items. The analysis technique used was product moment correlation with the help of SPSS 25.0 for Windows software. Based on the results of data analysis, the value obtained was R = -0.256 p = 0.046 (p ≤ 0.05). This shows that there is a significant negative relationship between the intensity of smartphone use and the motivation to memorize the Qur'an in MTsN 1 Bandar Lampung students with an effective contribution of 0.61%, the rest is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
