Abstract

ABSTRAK Gambaran Pengambilan Keputusan Istri Korban Perselingkuhan Oleh : Sekarsasti Nataya Krisashi Pernikahan idelanya dibangun atas dasar cinta, komitmen, dan kesetiaan, namun dalam praktiknya tidak sedikit pasangan yang menghadapi persoalan serius seperti perselingkuhan. Perselingkuhan kerap menjadi penyebab utama keretakan rumah tangga bahkan berujung pada perceraian, tetapi tidak semua korban perselingkuhan memilih untuk berpisah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan proses pengambilan keputusan istri korban perselingkuhan dalam mempertahankan pernikahannya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dan proses pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Dalam proses penelitian ini didapatkan subjek menjadi sampel penelitian dan sesuai dengan karakteristik yang akan d teliti. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa pengambilan keputusan oleh istri korban perselingkuhan merupakan proses kompleks yang dipengaruhi oleh aspek psikologis, sosial, dan spiritual. Ketiga subjek penelitian MS, BN, dan TS menunjukkan pengambilan keputusan berbeda. MS mengambil keputusan bertahan, keputusan MS bertahan karena anak yang menjadi pertimbangan. BN mengambil keputusan berpisah, meskipun diawal BN mencoba untuk bertahan, BN tetap memilih berpisah. TS mengambil keputusan bertahan, keputusan bertahan karena anak, meskipun bertahan TS tetap memiliki rencana cadangan untuk berpisah. Ketiga subjek kemudian sepakat adanya keinginan untuk tetap memiliki rumah tangga yang utuh tanpa perpisahan, memiliki rumah tangga yang lebih baik dan tidak menjadikan anak korban perpisahan orang tua. Kata Kunci : Pengambilan Keputusan, Istri, Korban Perselingkuhan. iii ABSTRACT Overview of Decision Making of Infidelity Victim Wives By: Sekarsasti Nataya Krisashi Marriage is ideally built on love, commitment and loyalty, but in practice not a few couples face serious problems such as infidelity. Infidelity is often the main cause of household breakdown and even leads to divorce, but not all victims of infidelity choose to separate. This study aims to describe the decision-making process of wives of infidelity victims in maintaining their marriage. The type of research used is a qualitative research method with a case study approach and the data collection process uses interview and observation techniques. In this research process, the subject is obtained as a research sample and in accordance with the characteristics to be studied. The results of this study reveal that decision making by wives of infidelity victims is a complex process influenced by psychological, social, and spiritual aspects. The three research subjects MS, BN, and TS showed different decision making. MS made the decision to stay, MS's decision to stay because the child was taken into consideration. BN made the decision to separate, even though at the beginning BN tried to survive, BN still chose to separate. TS made the decision to survive, the decision to survive because of the child, even though TS survived, he still had a backup plan to separate. The three subjects then agreed on the desire to continue to have an intact household without separation, have a better household and not make children victims of parental separation.
