Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fungsi Badan Usaha Milik Pekon (BUMPekon) Maju Bersama dalam pengembangan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat di Pekon Rigis Jaya, Kecamatan Air Hitam, Kabupaten Lampung Barat. BUMPekon sebagai lembaga ekonomi desa berperan dalam mengelola potensi lokal melalui berbagai program pemberdayaan masyarakat. Dalam hal ini, produk utama yang dikembangkan adalah bubuk kopi robusta sebagai hasil olahan dari komoditas lokal unggulan yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat setempat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian field research dan pendekatan kualitatif serta sifat penelitian deskriptif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu melelui wawancara,observasi,dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu pengumpulan sampel berdasarkan pertimbangan subjektif peneliti, dasar pertimbangan ditentukanpeneliti berdasarkan criteria yang harus dipenuhi sebagai sampel. Berdasarkan kriteria penulis mengambil sampelberjumlah 5 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa BUMPekon Maju Bersama berperan signifikan dalam mendorong perekonomian lokal melalui unit usaha pengolahan kopi bubuk robusta yang menjadi komoditas unggulan desa. BUMPekon juga menjalankan berbagai program seperti penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan pendampingan kepada masyarakat, khususnya petani kopi, guna meningkatkan kapasitas dan kemandirian ekonomi. Namun demikian, terdapat beberapa kendala seperti belum optimalnya distribusi produk, minimnya manajemen profesional, serta keterbatasan dalam pemasaran digital. Oleh karena itu, perlu penguatan kapasitas kelembagaan dan dukungan dari pemerintah serta mitra usaha agar keberlanjutan usaha dapat terjaga. Kata Kunci: Fungsi BUMPekon, Kesejahteraan Ekonomi, Pengembangan Masyarakat, Pemberdayaan.ABSTRACK This research aims to find out the function of Pekon Owned Enterprises (BUMPekon) Maju Bersama in the development of community economic welfare in Pekon Rigis Jaya, Air Hitam District, West Lampung Regency. BUMPekon as a village economic institution plays a role in managing local potential through various community empowerment programs. In this case, the main product developed is robusta coffee powder as a processed product from a superior local commodity owned by the local community. This research uses qualitative methods with field research types and qualitative approaches as well as the nature of descriptive research. The data collection techniques in this study are through interviews, observations, and documentation. In this study, the author uses the purposive sampling technique, which is the collection of samples based on the researcher's subjective considerations, the basis of the consideration is determined by the researcher based on the criteria that must be met as a sample. Based on the criteria, the author took a sample of 5 people. The research results show that BUMPekon Maju Bersama plays a significant role in encouraging the local economy through the robusta coffee powder processing business unit which is the village's flagship commodity. BUMPekon also carries out various programs such as counseling, training, and assistance to the community, especially coffee farmers, in order to increase capacity and economic independence. However, there are some obstacles such as not optimal product distribution, lack of professional management, and limitations in digital marketing. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen institutional capacity and support from the government and business partners so that business sustainability can be maintained.
