Abstract
ABSTRAK Bacterial wilt caused by Ralstonia solanacearum is a major problem in agriculture, particularly in chili plants, and can lead to significant annual losses. Excessive use of chemical bactericides can harm the environment, highlighting the need for alternative treatments. One such alternative is the use of natural substances such as botanical pesticides. This study aims to evaluate the antibacterial activity of butterfly pea (Clitoria ternatea) flower kombucha against Ralstonia solanacearum. The method used was agar diffusion with various kombucha concentrations (25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%), along with a positive control (chloramphenicol) and a negative control (sterile distilled water). The results showed that butterfly pea flower kombucha exhibited antibacterial potential, with the 100% concentration producing a very strong inhibition zone, while the other concentrations showed moderate inhibition zones. It can thus be concluded that butterfly pea flower kombucha has potential as an antibacterial agent against Ralstonia solanacearum. Kata kunci : Kombucha bunga telang (Clitoria ternatea L.), Pestisida nabati, Ralstonia solanacearum.
