Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan karena dilatar belakangi dari hasil kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang masih tergolong rendah. Salah satu faktor rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik pada mata pelajaran matematika kelas V MIN 1 Pesawaran yaitu kurang tepatnya pendidik dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran pada saat proses kegiatan belajar mengajar. Oleh karena itu pendidik perlu menggunakan model dan media pembelajaran yang bervariatif yang dapat menumbuhkan motivasi belajar pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran PMRI berbasis etnomatematika terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis kelas V MIN 1 Pesawaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Quasy Eksperimen dan desain yang digunakan yaitu Nonequivalent Control Group Desain teknik pengambilam sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Cluster Random Sampling. Instrument yang digunakan adalah tes soal essay. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas V MIN 1 Pesawaran. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 65 yang terdiri dari 33 peserta didik kelas VA sebagai kelas eskperimen dan 32 peserta didik kelas VB sebagai kelas control. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dengan uji Shapiro Wilk, uji homogenitas denggunakan uji Levene Statistic dilanjutkan dengan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Independent Sample T Test Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan uji Independent sampel T Test diperoleh nilai sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Penentuan keputusan ditentukan berdasarkan nilai P Value yaitu 0,05 jika nilai sig. (2 – tailed ) ≥ P Value maka dinyatakan tidak berpengaruh yang signifikan, serta jika nilai sig. ( 2 – tailed ) < P Value maka dinyatakan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan , berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diketahui bahwa sig. ( 2 – tailed ) < P Value atau 0,000 < 0,05 . Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima atau terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran PMRI berbasis etnomatematika terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas V MIN 1 Pesawaran. Peserta didik yang diberikan perlakuan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran PMRI berbasis etnomatematika memiliki hasil kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan peserta didik yang diberikan perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning. iii ABSTRACT This research was carried out because of the background of the results of mathematical problem-solving skills which are still relatively low. One of the factors for the low mathematical problem-solving ability of students in mathematics class V MIN 1 Pesawaran is the lack of accuracy of educators in using the learning model during the teaching and learning activity process. This study aims to find out whether there is an influence of the ethnomathematics-based PMRI learning model on the mathematical problem-solving ability of class V MIN 1 Pesawaran. This study is a quantitative research with the type of quasy experiment research and design used, namely the nonequivalent control group design of the sample collection technique used in this study, namely cluster random sampling. The instrument used was a test of essay questions . Population in this study, namely all students of class V MIN 1 Pesawaran. The sample in this study is 65 consisting of 33 students in the VA class as the experimental class and 32 students in the VB class as the control class. The results of this study show that the independent test of the T Test sample obtained a sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000. The decision is determined based on the P Value, which is 0.05 if the value of sig. (2 – tailed) ≥ P Value is declared to have no significant effect, and if the value sig. ( 2 – tailed ) < P Value then it is stated that there is a significant influence, based on the results of the hypothesis test it is known that sig. ( 2 – tailed ) < P Value or 0.000 < 0.05 .so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted or there is a significant influence of the ethnomathematics-based PMRI teaching model on the mathematical problem-solving ability of students in class V MIN 1 Pesawaran.students who are treated using the ethnomathematics based PMRI learning model have higher results in mathematical problem-solving abilities than students who are given treatment using the cooperative learning model.
