Abstract

ABSTRAK KEANEKARAGAMAN CRUSTACEA (ORDO DECAPODA) DI WILAYAH PERAIRAN PANTAI PULAU PAHAWANG KABUPATEN PESAWARAN Oleh NATASYA SALSABILLA Penelitian ini mengkaji keanekaragaman Crustacea (Ordo Decapoda) di perairan Pantai Pulau Pahawang, Kabupaten Pesawaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei eksploratif dengan teknik purposive sampling pada tiga stasiun: zona pemukiman, mangrove, dan terumbu karang. Hewan pada kelas Crustacea (Ordo Decapoda) diidentifikasi berdasarkan ciri morfologi, dihitung berdasarkan indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Wiener, dominansi, dan keseragaman, serta dilakukan pengukuran parameter lingkungan seperti suhu, pH, kecerahan, dan kadar oksigen terlarut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan 7 spesies yaitu Litopenaeus vannamei, Fenneropenaeus merguiensis, Metapenaeus affinis, Scylla serrata, Portunus palagicus, Panulirus homarus, Panulirus penicilatus. dari 3 famili yaitu Penaidae, Portunidae dan Palinuridae. Hasil perhitungan dari indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Wiener dari ketiga stasiun menunjukan hasil (H′) sebesar 1,75, 1,56 dan 1,73. Keanekaragaman crustacea (ordo decapoda) dalam keadaan relatif sedang (1≤ H`< 3). Hasil perhitungan indeks dominansi dari ketiga stasiun menunjukan hasil (C) sebesar 0,17, 0,22 dan 0,18. Hasil ini menunjukan bahwa crustacea (ordo decapoda) dalam keadaan relatif sedang (0,5 < C ≤ 0,75). Hasil indeks keseragaman dari ketiga stasiun menunjukan hasil (E) sebesar 0,90, 0,80 dan 0,89. Hasil ini menunjukan bahwa crustacea (ordo decapoda) dalam keadaan relatif tinggi (E> 0,6). Hasil perhitungan parameter fisika dan kimia menunjukan bahwa kualitas air di perairan pantai pulau pahawang semuanya tergolong normal dan cocok untuk kehidupan crustacea. Kata Kunci: Crustacea, Decapoda, keanekaragaman, Pulau Pahawang, ekologi laut. iii ABSTRACT DIVERSITY OF CRUSTACEA (ORDER DECAPODA) IN THE COASTAL WATERS OF PAHAWANG ISLAND, PESAWARAN DISTRICT Oleh NATASYA SALSABILLA This study examines the diversity of Crustacea (Order Decapoda) in the coastal waters of Pahawang Island, Pesawaran Regency. The method used is an exploratory survey with a purposive sampling technique at three stations: residential zones, mangroves, and coral reefs. Animals in the Crustacea class (Order Decapoda) were identified based on morphological characteristics, calculated based on the Shannon-Wiener diversity index, dominance, and uniformity, and measurements of environmental parameters such as temperature, pH, brightness, and dissolved oxygen levels were carried out. Based on the results of the study, 7 species were found, namely Litopenaeus vannamei, Fenneropenaeus merguiensis, Metapenaeus affinis, Scylla serrata, Portunus palagicus, Panulirus homarus, Panulirus penicilatus. from 3 families, namely Penaidae, Portunidae and Palinuridae. The results of the calculation of the Shannon-Wiener diversity index from the three stations showed results (H ') of 1.75, 1.56 and 1.73. The diversity of crustaceans (order decapoda) is relatively moderate (1≤ H`<3). The results of the calculation of the dominance index from the three stations showed results (C) of 0.17, 0.22 and 0.18. These results indicate that crustaceans (order decapoda) are relatively moderate (0.5 <C ≤ 0.75). The results of the uniformity index from the three stations showed results (E) of 0.90, 0.80 and 0.89. These results indicate that crustaceans (order decapoda) are relatively high (E> 0.6). The results of the calculation of physical and chemical parameters show that the water quality in the coastal waters of Pahawang Island is all classified as normal and suitable for crustacean life.
