Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantu Fishbone Diagram terhadap literasi sains peserta didik kelas X SMA pada materi pemanasan global. Model ini diterapkan di kelas X.7 dan dirancang untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains melalui penguatan indikator indikator literasi sains. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Data dikumpulkan melalui tes literasi sains dan angket identitas sains yang diberikan kepada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Setelah dilakukan posttest, data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas dengan metode One-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test melalui aplikasi SPSS. Hasil uji menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,200 pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol untuk tes literasi sains, serta 0,153 dan 0,200 pada angket identitas sains. Nilai-nilai tersebut lebih besar dari taraf signifikansi ɑ = 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal. Selanjutnya, dilakukan uji homogenitas menggunakan Levene Test of Equality of Error Variances untuk mengetahui kesamaan distribusi antar kelompok. Hasil uji menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,180 pada tes literasi sains dan 0,286 pada angket identitas sains, yang berarti data bersifat homogen. Kemudian, uji hipotesis dilakukan melalui uji-t independen untuk melihat perbedaan hasil antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Berdasarkan tabel uji hipotesis, diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan model Project Based Learning berbantuan Fishbone Diagram terhadap peningkatan literasi sains siswa kelas X SMA pada mata pelajaran biologi. Model ini dapat menjadi alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran yang berfokus pada pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pemahaman ilmiah siswa. Kata Kunci: Project Based Learning, Fishbone Diagram, Literasi Sains, Pembelajaran Biologi, Siswa SMA. ii ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by the Fishbone Diagram on the science literacy of tenth-grade high school students in the topic of global warming. This model was implemented in class X.7 and designed to enhance students' science literacy skills by strengthening specific science literacy indicators. The research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method. Data were collected through science literacy tests and science identity questionnaires administered to both the experimental and control classes. After the posttest was conducted, the data were analyzed using the normality test through the One-Sample Kolmogorov Smirnov Test with SPSS. The results showed a significance value of 0.200 in both the experimental and control classes for the science literacy test, and 0.153 and 0.200 respectively for the science identity questionnaire. These values exceed the significance level of ɑ = 0.05, indicating that the data are normally distributed. Subsequently, a homogeneity test was performed using Levene’s Test of Equality of Error Variances to assess the equality of variances across groups. The test yielded significance values of 0.180 for the science literacy test and 0.286 for the science identity questionnaire, indicating that the data are homogeneous. An independent t-test was then conducted to examine the differences between the experimental and control classes. Based on the hypothesis test table, a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 was obtained, leading to the rejection of H0 and acceptance of H1. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the Project Based Learning model assisted by the Fishbone Diagram on improving the science literacy of tenth-grade high school students in biology subjects. This model offers an innovative alternative to teaching that emphasizes the development of students’ critical thinking and scientific understanding.
