Abstract

Abstrak: Rendahnya pemahaman konsep Bahasa Indonesia di lembaga pendidikan dasar mendorong perlunya rencana proses belajar yang inovatif dan efisien. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengkaji dampak model AIR dengan bantuan Question Card terhadap pemahaman konsep Bahasa Indonesia di kelas IV MIS MMA IV di Sukabumi, Bandar Lampung. Riset ini mengaplikasikan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan quasi-eksperimen, tepatnya pada kelompok kontrol yang tidak setara (non-equivalent control group) melibatkan kelas eksperimen (n=28) yang menggunakan model AIR dan kelas kontrol (n=24) dengan Cooperative Learning. Instrumen berupa pretest dan posttest dikembangkan berdasarkan Taksonomi Bloom C2. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kelas eksperimen, N-Gain 48,86%, yang merupakan kategori sedang tinggi lebih besar dari kelas kontrol 27,72%, yang merupakan kategori rendah-sedang. Sebagai hasilnya, penolakan Ho dan penerimaan Hi ditegaskan oleh hasil analisis paired sample t-test dengan nilai p 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang menandakan perbedaan signifikan model AIR berbantuan Question Card berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Disimpulkan bahwa model AIR efektif dalam membangun pemahaman konsep yang mendalam dan berkelanjutan, serta mendukung pengembangan pembelajaran berbasis multisensori yang aktif dan bermakna. This study is intended to examine the impact of the AIR model with the help of the Question Card on the understanding of Indonesian concepts in class IV of MIS MMA IV in Sukabumi, Bandar Lampung. This research applied a quantitative approach with a quasi-experiment design, specifically on a non-equivalent control group involving an experimental class (n=28) using the AIR model and a control class (n=24) with Cooperative Learning. The pretest and posttest instruments were developed based on Bloom's Taxonomy C2. The analysis results showed significant improvement in the experimental class, the N-Gain of 48.86%, which is a medium-high category, is greater than the control class of 27.72%, which is a low-medium category. As a result, the rejection of Ho and acceptance of Hi is confirmed by the results of paired sample t-test analysis with a p value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), which indicates the significant difference of the AIR model assisted by the Question Card has a significant effect on students' concept understanding. It is concluded that the AIR model is effective in building deep and sustainable concept understanding and supporting the development of active and meaningful multisensory-based learning.
