Abstract

ABSTRAK Keselamatan kerja adalah upaya dalam mencegah timbulnya kemungkinan kecelakaan, dan keselamatan kerja akibat dampak akibat suatu proses produksi atau praktik kegiatan laboratorium. UIN Raden Intan Lampung memiliki sejumlah laboratorium pendidikan yang dilengkapi dengan fasilitas-fasilitas yang dibutuhkan untuk kepentingan praktikum maupun kajian teoretik, salah satunya yaitu Laboratorium Praktikum, fakultas tarbiyah terdiri dari Laboratorium Microteaching, Laboratorium Biologi, dan Laboratorium Fisika. Berdasarkan hasil pra observasi yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa faktor dalam menentukan pemahaman keselamatan kerja. Diantaranya masih terdapat mahasiswa pendidikan biologi yang belum sepenuhnya menyadari akan pentingnya keselamatan kerja di laboratorium biologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman Keselamatan Kerja di laboratorium mahasiswa S1 Pendidikan Biologi. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan mixed methods (penelitian campuran). Subjek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa S1 Jurusan Pendidikan Biologi Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Raden Intan Lampung. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil Keseluruhan Pemahaman Keselamatan kerja di Laboratorium melalui intrument soal yaitu Secara keseluruhan, dengan rata-rata 82,53%, pemahaman terhadap indikator yang diuji sangat tinggi. Namun, perhatian khusus perlu diberikan pada Peraturan Keselamatan Kerja yang memiliki persentase terendah (70,83%). Sedangkan hasil Hasil Keseluruhan Pemahaman Keselamatan kerja di Laboratorium melalui instrument angket dari keempat angkatan, Angkatan 21 Semester 7 memiliki rata-rata nilai tertinggi, yaitu 87,63% mengindikasikan tingkat pencapaian keseluruhan yang paling baik. Sebaliknya, Angkatan 24 Semester 1 memiliki rata-rata nilai terendah, yaitu 83,57%, dengan kesenjangan nilai terbesar antara nilai tertinggi (100) dan nilai terendah (60). Distribusi nilai pada Angkatan 23 Semester 3 terlihat lebih stabil karena memiliki nilai terkecil yang relatif lebih tinggi (70). On the other hand , Class 24 Semester 1 has an average value of lowest , namely 83.57 % , with gap mark the biggest between mark highest (100) and mark lowest (60).
