On the other hand, there is a phenomenon of mushrooming Islamic schools that we can observe around us, making Islamic schools much in demand by parents to send their children to school. One of the interests of parents is the Qur'an memorization program. The author's interest in this study lies in the implementation of the Quran memorization program at SMP IT Al-Kholis Sidomulyo which is a superior program at the school. This study aims to examine the steps and success of the application of the Sima'i and Muroja'ah methods in memorizing the Qur'an at SMP IT Al Kholis Sidomulyo. The research method used was qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation involving teachers, students, and school principals. Data analysis was carried out descriptively to describe the steps of application and success of the Sima'i and Muroja'ah methods in memorizing the Qur'an which included the sima'i method, and murojaah at SMP IT Al-Kholis Sidomulyo. The results showed that the two methods complement each other and are quite effective in improving the quality of students' memorization of the Qur'an. In the steps of its application, the sima'i method, which emphasizes repeated listening, helps students memorize verses more quickly and accurately. While the murojaah method, which focuses on repeating memorization, ensures that the memorization that students have acquired remains strong and is not easily forgotten. Then the two methods show quite satisfying success, seen from the results of the learning achievements which show that there are around 84.8% of students who have successfully completed the achievement of memorization targets at SMP IT Al-Kholis Sidomulyo. Keywords: Al-Qur'an Memorization Method, Sima'i, Muroja'ah vii ABSTRAK Dalam sebuah penelititan yang di lakukan oleh lembaga pengabdian kepada masyarakat Institut Ilmu Al-Qur‟an Jakarta, mengungkapkan bahwa buta aksara Al-Qur‟an di Indonesia sekitar 58,57%-65%, sementara kemampuan membaca pada leel cukup dan kurang berada pada 72,25%, melihat kesenjangan yang cukup jauh menjadikan perhatikah khusus kita sebagai pendidik khususnya sebagai guru pendidikan agama Islam. Di lain sisi terdapat fenomena menjamurnya sekolah Islam yang dapat kita amati di sekitar kita, menjadikan sekolah Islam banyak diminati oleh para orangtua untuk menyekolahkan anak-anaknya. Salah satu ketertarikan para orang tua yaitu pada program meghafal Al-Qur‟an. Ketertarikan penulis dalam penelitian ini yaitu terletak dalam pelaksanaan program menghafal Al Quran di SMP IT Al-Kholis yang menjadi program unggulan di sekolah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji langkah-langkah dan keberhasilan penerapan metode Sima‟i dan Muroja‟ah dalam menghafal Al Qur‟an di SMP IT Al-Kholis Sidomulyo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan guru, siswa, dan kepala sekolah. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif untuk menggambarkan langkah-langkah penerapan dan keberhasilan dari metode Sima‟i dan Muroja‟ah dalam menghafal Al-Qur‟an yang meliputi metode sima'i, dan murojaah di SMP IT Al-Kholis Sidomulyo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua metode tersebut saling melengkapi dan cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas hafalan Al Qur'an siswa. Dalam langkah-langkah penerapannya metode sima'i, yang menekankan pada pendengaran berulang, membantu siswa dalam menghafal ayat-ayat dengan lebih cepat dan akurat. Sedangkan metode murojaah, yang fokus pada pengulangan hafalan, memastikan bahwa hafalan yang telah diperoleh siswa tetap kuat dan tidak mudah terlupakan. Kemudian dari kedua metode tersebut menunjukan keberhasilan yang cukup memuaskan, terlihat dari hasil capaian pembelajarannya yang menunjukan bahwa ada sekitar 84,8% siswa berhasil menuntaskan capaian targetan hafalan di SMP IT Al Kholis Sidomulyo.
